I purchased this product to increase my GFR, in general I think kidney is second important organ after liver that is responsible for our body detoxification. as far as it taste, I have nothing against in, it have nice fruity aftertaste but u do have to dissolve it in room temp water/juice/coffee/tea. I use tiny whisk to help to mix product and it's taking me 10 seconds into mixing. bag itself is huge, so u get a lots of portions from it. I had no bloating or cramps after taking 2 table spoons on day 4. for first 3 days I was taking 1 tablespoon. I notice my stop is softer in the morning, due to additional fiber that is in this product. over all I am satisfied an will get more when done with this bag ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The product itself I recommend. I noticed immediate results. Without TMI, it does what you would expect it to do. Just be sure to stay adequately hydrated. I drink spring water, coconut water and eat melons regularly. It’s very easy to take ( I only used one tablespoon per serving), practically tasteless in water and completely dissolves in hot water or other hot beverages without changing the consistency. Hopefully this is an isolated incident, I’ll reach out to the manufacturer to make them aware. I still recommend the purchase. Update: 6/5/2024. I don't really know how to rate this product, since I have no doubt that it is helpful for the kidneys. HOWEVER, I started out taking a tablespoon 2x a day, and my guts immediately swelled up with painful and persistent bloating, gas, and irritation all down my digestive tract. Now, lest you think I had this reaction simply because my gut flora were very unused to soluble fiber, that is not the case: I have been using Anthony's acacia fiber and Melissa's with very good, and soothing results. No problem ever. I tried reducing the dose, down to a teaspoon even once a day, and, although symptoms somewhat improved, they were basically the same. At this point I don't think I can handle this brand. For me, the white or white-ish brands of acacia fiber work much better. And they do work! I have noticed since I started using acacia fiber that my morning urine is much clearer (hope that's not too much info, but that's why we're here, right?), and frequency is reduced. I originally bought acacia fiber to deal with irritable bowel, so maybe for that purpose the white stuff--only Anthony's and the other product marketed for IBS, as far as I can find--is better. I'm not saying this is a bad product, but it definitely did not work for me. The bloating was so bad it would awaken me at night. I'm really sorry about this, because the product was priced very well, and the quantity was excellent. EDIT 9/26/23: I HAVE TO CHANGE MY RATING. I NOW GIVE IT A 5-OUT OF-5. I WAITED A FEW MONTHS, THEN TRIED IT AGAIN AT A LOWER DOSE--1 TSP PER DAY TO START (STILL AT THIS LEVEL, ACTUALLY), AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH THE PRODUCT. SO I WILL BUY IT AGAIN.
