I love the formfactor of this head unit and it fits perfectly in my Econoline van. I’m not a fan of the android units with the removable screens. I had a prior android head unit with a removable screen, and had problems with the ribbon cable to the screen. I am not a heavy android function user. My main uses are radio and video. Eventually I’ll hook up a backup camera, but have no feedback on how well that works yet. Keep in mind this is a budget android head unit. These head units come with their pros and cons. The pros, you get a large amount of features at a low price. The cons, the units don’t usually come with a completely polished user interface and may take a little playing with to get it set up the way you want. This is where you reach out to customer service to help you out. The head unit came with a radio app where I didn’t like the functionality. Binize customer service hooked me up with a system update with a different radio app which I am much happier with. They also helped me sort out some issues with getting videos to play correctly and change the system UI to different styles. I give them an A+ on the customer service As to how the unit works. The radio is amazing on the amount of channels it picks up and they sound clear. A lot more channels than the stock radio or the previous android head unit I had. Videos played well with a very clear picture. Very happy with this. But there is one drawback. Playing large videos from a USB drive didn’t play well. Very choppy. When the movie was copied over to the units memory, the movie played fine. This was a 6GB MKV file. I was able to play a 1.5GB MKV file from the USB drive without issue. If the unit had a SD slot in the side with a faster read speed, this unit would be almost perfect for my uses. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have always been a name brand audio guy, but I got this for my 2002 Toyota highlander and for my 2003 Highlander I love it! The camera quality is excellent. It has a ton of features and wireless apple CarPlay and android auto. I would highly recommend. Update I have been using these for a few months now and they have been great! My 2003 Highlander with the jbl system was a bit of a challenge to get the sound clean but I figured it out. You can add custom boot logos which is a cool option. I bought this unit and am very happy with it. Pros: 1. Huge screen. My Honda Odyssey has 8 inch back up screen. I thought 8 inch is enough. No! It’s 10 inch. Huge! My friends saw this unit and said, “Is it Tesla?” Ha Ha. It’s bright enough under the Sun. I have attached pictures. I recommend better rear view camera for better quality. I bought $20ish camera, but the picture quality was so poor at night. It has 140° View Adjustable Angle, but has a small sensor. I returned it and bought $37 camera. It has 1/2.7 inch large sensor chip made in Japan,170 degree wide view angle. I am very satisfied with it. The picture quality at night is amazing with this screen. 2. Carplay. It works flawlessly. I’m using Google map through Carplay. Very helplful. 3. Good sound. Comparing to my previous Sony unit, it has better sound. More clear than Sony. Cons: 1. I wish it could adjust its parking grid within this unit. My previous Sony has that function, so I could adjust parking grid without adjusting camera itself. Without this function, it is almost impossible to match its parking grid with street curb. 2. It has a stability issue in connecting phone and the unit. Sometimes it lost connection. To reconnect, I had to reset the unit. It is annoying. I highly recommend this unit. You cannot go wrong with this unit. However, I cannot say it is easy to install, but worth a try. ... show more

Great product, smooth transitions, fast response time. Worth the price point and it looks amazing! Just sometimes a little slow connecting to CarPlay but doesn’t happen too often.

    • Good enough for the money if you don't mind tinkering with it.
I have the 10" version. The screen does have a fair amount of glare. It can be a challenge to mount due to the non-standard design and the screen not being detachable. It is a 10" screen though and it looks fairly good. I don't like the built in Android Auto emulator but I downloaded Head Unit Reloaded and it is working much better. I also do not like the stock home launcher. The widget on the home screen doesn't work for any apps except the stock FM tuner. I fixed that with Nova Launcher and was able to easily customize the wallpaper. None of the other launchers I tried worked because when I used the back button in the Bluetooth app or the FM app it would take me to the stock launcher which is annoying. As far as performance goes it is just ok. It can be very slow opening apps like Youtube Music or Google Maps. It will get there but it is pretty slow. Google maps glitches in pop up mode so go into app settings and turn off picture in picture for that app. Split screen apps works pretty well. Takes a while to connect to wifi when it boots up. If you are using it for Android Auto it will work very well. I use HUR and set the screen size to 720 so it utilizes the large screen better. You won't find a much cheaper way to have Android Auto let along on a screen this size. Audio quality was surprisingly good. Overall I am good with my purchase because I like to tinker. If you do not, you might be happy with it but there were too many annoying things I felt like I needed to fix. If I wasn't using it for Android Auto most of the time I think I would have probably returned it due to the slow performance. *Update* unfortunately I decided I need to return this head unit. A car stereo just needs to work consistently. I had to reconnect Android Auto a lot and screen brightness kept going to 100% on its own and even on it's lowest brightness it is too bright. The screen when the back up camera is washed out. I will be spending my money on a well known brand like Kenwood or Pioneer with a 7" screen. ... show more
