First thing you got to know is this is not a heavy duty top. But it is a good little top for the price. As many other have stated it does not come with assembly instructions, however even with that handicap I had it put together in less than 5 minutes. I think the straps and carabiners could be a little beefier, but again, you are not paying a lot for this top so you have got to expect there will be some things you would like to see a little better. All that being said, I installed this on an 8 foot jon boat and it works perfectly. I certainly enjoyed the break from the direct sun as well as the rain that came later. I don’t think this top will stand up to much abuse, but if you take care of it and not abuse it, I believe it will last a while. I do not regret this purchase at all. ... show more

This product doesn’t have any accessories to mount the base to where the paddles are like the other ones I have seen this one doesn’t include and also the size is smaller so it won’t fit any boat width very cheap Bimini top I completely thru my money to the garbage

Added this to a small 12' boat My boat is about 2" narrower than this listing, and they still fit fine. Tops looks good on that size and its held up to cruising speeds around 25mph on the water. The material is flimsy, and I don't expect more than 2 years from it, honestly. I suspect I may have to patch it or get a cover made for it (my likely route) if the hardware holds up. Easy to assemble. No instructions but not rocket science so that's no too big of a deal. If it's the 1st one going on the boat, you will need to buy the brackets that go on the boat and a bracket set to go from the u mount bracket on canopy to the boat bracket that are eyelet designed brackets or make a bracket that works for the u bracket system on the canopy. I mounted this on my 12 ft sun dolphin Jon boat. Works fine and provides shade. It has begun to rip after one weeks use though and the carabiners are breaking so those are cheap.

Easily installed this on a Sundolphin American 12 in about 15 minutes. If you get the suggested hardware be aware that the Bimini mounting pole connection is too wide for the pin to fit. Having said that, the hardware is quality and fit the boat. You can still use the included connecting bolt in the Bimini kit and just get a longer quick disconnect pin later.
