This product is really solid, comes well-packaged, and has super clear instructions. Major kudos to the manufacturer. The welds are strong, the powder coating is thick and tough, and the design is spot-on. It arrived wrapped in eco-friendly materials, and the assembly manual is fantastic—full of photos and even a video link for extra help. Plus, they included a cool jackknife keychain as a bonus. It’s sturdy and fits a full-size hitch, so just make sure your vehicle has a hitch receiver. I love the tilting feature and the anti-sway bar that locks when you’re not using it. It’s a great value compared to more expensive carriers. Assembly took about 40 minutes; the instructions are okay, but you need to pay close attention to the diagrams. The rack works well, made of steel which I prefer for bike racks. It’s heavy, but that’s not an issue for me. I keep it near the vehicle for easy setup and trust it’ll hold up. I had to slightly widen one of the pre-drilled holes to fit a bolt, but it was an easy fix. The cradle bars are a bit shorter than some, but our full-size E bikes fit just fine. The locks are excellent—no worries about theft. It says it’s not for RVs or additional wheels, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. ... show more

This is a great rack . Easy to assemble & install . Very sturdy & no wobble . I can put on or take off 2 step thru , ebikes in less than 5 mins. Price is very good too .

After roughly 20 minutes of assembly by myself, this bike rack was ready for work. Full disclosure, I did not use the provided tools but relied on my own and that likely sped the process a little. The front tire/fork retention is fully adjustable and has positive clicks when cinching it down and is a push button to release. The front tire rides in an accommodatingly wide and deep tire well It should work well with wider eBike tires as well as any human powered bike tires. The rear is strapped in place once it's slid to the correct position based on the bike's wheelbase.It has a stop screw in the back to prevent it from sliding off entirely. The front retention pieces fold flat and make for quick work to fold the entire carrier up to back of the vehicle when empty. The lever to adjust height for empty carry, bike carry and bike tilt to open the rear hatch is easy to operate, is large and the locking lug is also large to make sure it can handle eBike weight if that's what you're hauling. It's nicely finished, the hardware seems well made and the only longer term wear items will likely be the front fork/wheel padding and some plastic components. Occasional washing and storing indoors when not used would be good ideas for longevity. Finally, there is a good locking hitch pin to keep honest people honest. I like it. 4.5/5 ... show more

Not long enough for the wheelbase of the bike. Bought it for business to haul customers bikes...Oops. First job and...had to add some makeshift cradle extension for the front tire.

    • Very stable for my mountain bikes
I finally got a chance to assemble and use this last night First, assembly is a breeze. The tools that are included are great, but I did find it easier to use my drill attachment for the hex screws that you have to attach to the frame. The rack is very stable, but like all racks does bounce a bit on the bumps and dips. make sure that you pay special attention to which direction to put the tire holders as well as where to put the bar that goes over your bike. Originally I had it over the middle of the bike, but it goes over the front tire to keep the bike from rolling forward. The wheel base is a bit of a funny shape and it almost is like it is not long enough for an adult male bike, but after i put the guard rail over the top it settled into place. I am not using the locking hitch, but I do not think it will fit through the hole in my subaru outback underneith, so I am using a hitch pin that it small enough. ... show more

We needed a sturdier bike rack for our electric bikes. This fits the bill quite well. It can definitely handle the weight of the bikes. I also like the mounting system, as it allows you to attach your bike to the rack without making any contact with the painted surfaces of the bike. So, your bike's paint job will be preserved. I also like the included lock to secure the rack to your hitch. The way it folds up when not in use is perfect. The way it drops down to allow you to open your hatchback without removing the rack is very handy. We are looking forward to some adventures this fall, and this bike rack will be the perfect addition. ... show more
