I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. Popped some batteries in and she was ready to go. It’s got volume controls on it so mommy can turn it down when it gets to be too noisy. I purchased this keyboard for my three year old who loves music and would love to learn piano. This was smaller than I expected but a good size for her little hands. This is a Christmas gift so I have not opened it or turned it on to hear what it sounds like but I am excited for her to open this and I love that it comes in different colors since purple is her favorite color! ... show more

Great item. But, I had to take it apart cause I heard this sound within. Found a little silver solder piece must of came lose and upon moving the item, that sounds like it was broken..........but it wasn't. Put it back together and allis good now.

Great first keyboard. It's very lightweight but also made cheaply. The batteries only work when you hold it right side up. You get what you pay for, but it is a good option as a starter option.

I didn't care about tons of features or high quality. It looked cute and was really portable. The problem is, the default volume is deafening. And it has no memory or volume slider, so it resets every time you turn it off. I had to unscrew it to pad the speakers with layers of foam to make it tolerable and safe. Yes, you can turn the volume down to a normal level but you have to do it every time by pressing the button several times, and no child is going to. And the reason for 1 star instead of 2 or 3 that I was going to give it is that the battery compartment is faulty. It doesn't hold batteries the way it should. They shift and the keyboard stops working. Funnily enough that didn't start happening until the return window closed, haha. It stops working so I flip it over to change the batteries but as I'm moving them, I hear a sound. I test a few keys with the keyboard upside down, screw in the cover, test again, works!
