The three way light assembly has a ver bright white light. I walk a mile to work at night through an unlit area and the cane is not only sturdy and comfortable, the light is comforting and alows me to see not only where I am but a ways in front of me as well. I feel stable and much safer using this cane. It's sturdy yet light cane with a comfortable grip and it comes with both a single tip end and a four cornered base end for extra balance. Had a terrible fall, after months of a wc and walker - time to move on to a cane - found Big Alex - awesome piece of equipment. Came in a nice bag all folded up for travel, with a separate tip - I have the 4 sided tip so my cane stands. It is completely adjustable for height, has a very sturdy feeling. The flashlight is what sold me -it has three settings- straight forward, down and a combo of both using 2 AA batteries. I have it next to my bed and I can easily get up at night, turn the light on and get to the bathroom without turning on overhead lights to see. It is good for walking during darker times outside bc you are easily to be seen or to see at night. Love the color choices. The only small issue was that a couple times when the cane fell the spring in the battery compartment shifted and I had to reset the spring to get the light to work, but I would definitely buy again or add to the collection. I have had many people comment and ask about the cane and where to purchase! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Was Easy to pu together. Came with a bag for storing. I love that the rubber pad keeps cane standing and is easy to walk with. It comes in various colors. I love the light feature especially at night. Gives a soft glow so you can see getting into bed at night. Only thing negative, and reason for four stars, is batteries move within chamber which causes rattling noise and can cause light to flicker off when you don't want it to. Wasn't sure if all the canes are like that or just mine. Still all in all I would buy again and highly recommend. ... show more

This is a well-built product. I saw some reviews that said they had a problem that when they dropped their cane or if it tipped over, the light would no longer work. I have to admit I have dropped mine or knocked it over many times. Some of the times thinking that I think I probably broke it. But no, it continues to work after drop getting more than a dozen times. It's well built like I said and the light is a big help at night. It looks good and most importantly it's the right height which was hard to find. An extra bonus is that it has a light. Easy to travel with because it folds up and has its own case. He looks much better when he uses it because he stands up straight and can walk much better with confidence.
