I used it the day I got it to Jack up one side of a 13,000 lb boat and trailer . The jack worked well and did not struggle. On the negative side (the reason for only 4 stars) is the jacking pump handle.. The two piece handle kept separating. It could have been designed better. The constant separating was a nuisance. When I have a chance I will modify the handle so that it will not keep coming apart. It will be a simple fix that Torin should have done at the factory at almost no cost. It is hard to find a descent bottle jack these days. I have had better in the past. They don't make them anymore. I purchased this one to use for my travel trailer. I also have an adapter the fits the bottle jack and allows a good connection with the trailer's axle shaft. It makes for a much safer use. All in all it is serving its function to allow a means to jack my travel trailer if the need arrives. Well worth a full 5 stars. ... show more

Needed this yesterday when I had a flat tire to lift my 05 f150. I noticed when I grabbed it from under my rear seat the piston has risen up from being fully compressed, then when I would push it down after opening the little valve and while holding the piston down and tightening the valve it would immediately begin rising up as soon as I took my hand off from holding it down. It took a while to finally get it under my axel, it did lift the truck but afterward I could not get the dang piston to stay down and it was leaking hydronic fluid from around the piston. With all this going on I can no longer tryst this jack and now must find a replacement which sucks afer paying $50 and getting one single use and now the return window is closed and I highly doubt the manufacturer will do a thing to make it right. ... show more

Bought it just in time. Had to change a tire on my camper this weekend it worked perfectly. Have no complaints. Really like the Groove for the axle to sit in it takes a second but when you get it in the right spot it's not going anywhere.

This jack can lift higher than my old floor jack, and it has a smaller footprint, which makes it very useful, and it's a good value, but really not that great as a primary jack. The handle it came with is terrible. It came in two pieces to ship in a smaller box, and they're just pipes with a pinched end that fit together with tension. The motion needed to lift the jack immediately loosens the two sections and the smaller section slides right through the handle receiver and hits the floor. My other jack handle is just slightly too wide to fit in this jack, so I can't use much leverage. The release knob is right against the floor with a rubber cover on it, I guess for finger tightening. I had to keep pliers nearby to open it, but then the jack doesn't lower all the way to the lowest position. It drops until there's no more weight on it and won't drop any further, so I have to grab the ram and try to manually push it down a little more to get it out from under the car. Now, the scary part: I noticed one of the times I was getting the jack into place that the inner ram was going up before the outer ram. I wasn't sure if that's how it was supposed to be, but once it started lifting the car, the inner ram dropped suddenly and frighteningly and then I kept going and the outer ram lifted to meet the inner ram and then it started lifting properly. I think I need to fully extend this jack and lubricate everything well. Don't use this without jack stands, but that goes for even the best jack. Don't let hydraulic oil be the only thing holding the car up if you're putting any part of your body under any part of the car. ... show more
