It works well for my generator exhaust extension. I ran it through the garage wall to the outside and wrapped it several times where it goes through the wall. I used a heat gun to check the temps. It is pretty good stuff, but you can pay more from a motorcycle shop and get a better product. I am happy enough with it. Note: I have a detached garage, running a generator in an attached garage even vented to the outside, is not a good idea and could be fatal. ... show more

Header wrap appears to work fine but is loaded with fiberglass chards. Your hands will itch if you don't use gloves for installation. I have use header wrap before and never had this problem. It has been two days and I still have sharp pieces of fiberglass in my hands.

back in the day was easier to use. this new stuff was like fiberglass. i should have worn gloves when using it, felt like glass slivers in my hands for a few days. other than that is was ok, would get again if needed.
