The good: - Vibrant / solid colors - Good color assortment - Smooth ink - Dry fairly quickly The not so good: - Dispenses a lot of runny ink - DOES bleed through thinner bible pages Comparable to the Pentel Energel 0.7 - Almost the exact same writing experience - Difference is the Energel has a little more controlled / fine ink dispersion so the ink dries faster (yes I timed them). When I would use these pens: - On smoother paper like the Tomoe River paper - yes, take a little longer to dry, but it allows the colors to have the most contrast / look the most vibrant When I would not use these pens: - On standard printer paper, equally "thick"/dense/absorbent paper - the colors get sucked in a just look dull in my opinion - On very thin Bible pages Highlighting tips - You can highlight over these pens fairly quickly - I'd recommend waiting a little longer if you plan on writing OVER a pre-highlighted area (some bleeding, especially on smoother paper). Just received these pens so can't comment on longevity. Overall good pens, just not what I was expecting. Hope this was helpful. ... show more
