Great selection of colors and ink is very vibrant and true to package color, however, they will dry out quickly if not recapped. Each employee at our company uses a different color of ink when completing our jobs so that if an error is identified, we know who did that work. The color selection was PERFECT! I am a bit of a pen snob. I used to use Uni-ball Jetstream pens. But, then I saw the Bic Glide bold pens at an attractive price, loved them, and never looked back. Now, I see that the price is right on the other Bic pens. So, I am wondering if I could go even cheaper. So, I tried the Bic Glide Bold against the Bic Xtra Bold and the Xtra Life. Long story short, the pens are well named. The Glide pen is heavier and smoother and very easy to write with. The Xtra Bold is a very light pen which means it takes more effort to write with. But, the color is indeed bolder than the Glide. Also, the ink is blobbier than the Glide. The XtraLife on the other hand is lighter, more faint, and scratchier. The above is for black ink. I also compared the Xtra Bold Blue vs Black. The black ink is blobby and uneven. The blue ink is less much less blobby - fewer dots and streaks. And the lines are more even. So, here is where I stand. My #1 is the Bic Glide Bold. It’s fun to use and makes my writing look good. It will be my go-no for writing in general. My #2 is the Bic Xtra Bold in Blue. This will likely be a distant second because I mostly type so I don’t want writing to take effort. I might use these up along with cheap legal pads with thin paper. The others will be throwaway pens that I loan out, jot down quick notes with, and use for contrasting ink with capturing thoughts. I might also use the Xtra Life for drawing fainter lines on unlined paper until they either run out or are lost. ... show more

This paticular model of Bic pens are the best, with a clear body and a small platic cap. I also have all black ones. Only thing I hate is the cap, their holder arm is too small. I wish they would make the spring click pens with the same smooth technology ink. I have used many brands in the last 10 years for my business. Most are not as smooth. Even when reading a book I use these to highlight some line. When writing over a word the second time, they still dont create a too dark and wet area like gel pens. They also do not leak out to the other side of the page like gel pens. ... show more

I love these pens, easy to hold without feeling too small in my fingers, and the bold point, for whatever reason, helps my handwriting to be more legible. With the smaller points my writing looks like chicken scratch and I can't even read my writing sometimes. I haven't had any issues with smudging and the price is right! ... show more

I bought them for a great price. I like the colors, the ink, and the fact that they are smooth. I got these because my favorites, Velocity1.6, got discontinued. The velocity were more comfortable but these work well too.

I love bic pens but I thought these could have been better! The colors are great but they do not last very long and I felt especially the light green and light blue ran out quickly. For the price and the colors I would recommend, just know they are not going to last a long time.
