Heated up to 104 F with 24 hours after initial filling at 63 F. Really only need to fill to minimum line. Once you get two adults in it and fire up the bubbles, most water above that is going to exit anyway. You could fit three younger people in it but not three adults without ejecting way to much water. We put it on our concrete paver back patio with a tarp under it and are going to put a 10x10 pop up over it for Winter use. Great little spa. Too early to tell what the electrical usage is. The media could not be loaded. This is the best bang for your buck spa. This is actually our second one our first one we didn't insulate and Over Christmas while we were away the power cut out and the spa never turned back on causing water to expand in the heater and break it. We opted to buy a whole new one as a heater is about half the cost. This new one is really well made, If the heater didn't break probably would last 3 years unprotected. There are some upgrades from last year's model like a whole thermal waterproof blanket cover that comes with it. We decided to add some other insulation To also help with efficiency. I got a quilted waterproof cover that I put from the bottom up. I also got 1 inch foam mat for a base. Overall I love my purchase and I use it often. I wish the manual included more detailed instructions. The video tutorials on YouTube helped a lot. I love that the setup is quick. Initially, it took around 14 hours for the temperature to reach 104 degrees. After you turn on the jets the temp drops two degrees within minutes. Once the jets reach the time limit cut-off the temp is at 98 degrees. This has been consistent with each use. I keep the power on 24/7 ( not the jets) so the hot tube is ready when I want to use it. When not in use place the thermal cover on because it is what holds the heat. Bromine tablets are not included. There was a filter already inside the holder that I didn't know was there until the brown foam was on top of the water and that was the same day of my first use which makes me believe it was used because it was disgustingly dirty. Next time I will get all the chemicals and extra filters needed for up-keep. For the price it is definitely worth buying if you're the market for an affordable hot tub. ... show more

When the pump ran it was okay, not real efficient but that’s what you get with a 110 heater. My low review is because it kept throwing an E2 error which means clean filter and it would throw it with a new filter and one that was just cleaned. The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this hot tub! Like others mentioned, the instructions are minimal, but setup is easy. Just plug it in, unwrap everything, place it, and press the bubbles button—it inflates itself! Heat and air retention are excellent. The cover can lose a bit of air over time, but it’s easy to re-inflate; just connect the hose to the hot tub and cover, then press the bubbles button again. Always keep the cover on when not in use, and avoid running the bubbles with the cover on. Highly recommend getting a chemical kit—I went with an all-in-one set for around $100 and use bromine since it’s gentler on the skin. If you’re going back and forth trying to decide to pull the trigger, DO IT. It’s been worth every penny. The app is dope too. I pretty much always have it set to 104° ... show more

I purchased this hot tub 5 months ago. My husband and I really wanted a hot tub but did not want to spend thousands of dollars for a “real” one. We have used this almost daily since purchasing. The set up was a breeze, took maybe 20 minutes. Filled with water in about 45 minutes and was ready to go. We have hot water outdoors so I can not speak to how long it would take to heat from a cold tap temperature. I have found it heats 1-2 degrees an hour when we turn it down and need to get back up to temperature. We used this hot tub all winter in Massachusetts with no issues. From the research I did prior to buying it was not recommended to use inflatable hot tubs in temperatures below 38ish degrees. For the price and the use we got out of this I was willing to risk operating in well below freezing temps. As for the size, it is perfect for 2 adults. Any more you would need to be very comfortable getting cozy with. The jets work great for what they are. Running the jets does drop the temperature faster (in my winter only experience). We typically turn them on for 10 minutes and then enjoy without the jets to keep the water hot! Highly recommend. ... show more
