For the money, this is an awesome LED light. Very bright, full spectrum, runs cool, has separate switches for veg and flower, and is very light. My only complaint to keep me from giving 5 stars is the hanging mechanism. With the leads and the ratchet hook, it hangs low in my grow room. When my plants flower, I will need to find a better way to hang it higher. Other than that, I am very pleased with it. Update: 11/18/21 I have to raise my rating to 5 stars due to their customer service. My original light encountered an issue after fourteen months and only half the LED lights worked in the Veg state. Even though it was out of warranty, I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me a new one for free, shipping included. Very rare to find a company willing to do that. These light are very good in quality and the heat out put is very low. I'm using 2 1500 wat in a 8×4×8 grow tent and it is more then enough light in the first 48 hours my plants grow 3" . That was more then my 1000 wat hp . The best thing about these lights are they dont take a 1000 wat to run ,its more like 350 but the light spectrum is still equivalent to a 1000 wat hp if not a 1200 wat hp. Updated review . Had to contact the company directly to get warrenty set up and get it activated . After making contact they sorted out the warrenty registration. Light has been In place for 2.5 weeks now and all tropical plant we moved inside for winter are looking much better and recovering quite nice from lite frost damage. ... show more

In my 8X8 grow area, I have 2 -1500 and 1 -1000 wt , and alternate between the settings to optimize heat and light. I currently keep the lights about 20 inches above my plants. I just switched to 12/12 light schedule 5 days ago, and I have pre flower buds today. The plants were originally started as seeds or clones in a homemade metal cabinet, with LED white light only. When I initially set up my flower area, I had the lights about 3 feet above the plants, for about 7 days, to allow them to adjust to the environment. So far I am extremely pleased with the grow. I did have a previous grow, which I harvested. 2 plants with 1 1500wt light, and it didn't do very well. Which is why I did a lot of research, and now have 3 lights in my current space. ... show more

I've recently purchased two grow lights- 1500W- and the products are not exactly what the site shows. The website and all reviews of this product show a full piece of glass covering the lights but each of my lights have openings at each end. I've attached photos. Is this supposed to be this way? Also, the glass is not centered. It looks unprofessional how unaligned it is. You can see the tabs under the glass has shifted or they were put on very sloppily. The label on the product is not on straight.. To be fair, both products work and function properly it just looks unprofessional when one does not match the other. Im leaving this review because i have not received a reply from seller on email, im willing to edit this review in the near future if this can be resolved. ... show more

I ordered 2 units. Only one was usable as the hole to attach the supporting wires was not drilled/present. I had to modify the other one to not hang as low, as I wanted to use it as supplementary lighting in a greenhouse and the headroom needed by the setup was excessive. I got it two days ago, it is super bright. I have no idea of energy efficiency, i don't get daily energy bills. I know it throws out decent heat, that's why it has fans I like that it has two settings, one for veg and one for flower
