I have wide calves. I usually have get wide calf boots, etc and I had no problem with these fitting over fitted jeans. If these are too tight you must have extraordinarily large legs because I am telling you I have big calves and I had no issues. They are really cute and I like them a lot!

I hate to say this, but these are so ugly! I wanted to love these and was hoping to find boot cuffs that would look adorable with my new rain boots. I thought the stitching on these near the buttons was really pretty in pictures. Come to find out they make your calves look humongous! You’d have to have super tiny twig-like legs in order for these to work, otherwise they act like an optical illusion. They make your calves look really wide, and the stitch line spreads out and looks polka dotted. They’re also very poorly made and came with tons of threads hanging out; some look like they’re about to fall apart. VERY cheaply made. The material is scratchy. They stretch a lot, maybe too much…. after wearing a pair for an hour they seemed to fall down my legs and hide under my boots. I just can’t get over how huge they make my average-sized calves look, which makes make my short legs look even shorter. I’m returning these. Hope this helps! 😑 ... show more

These are ideal to fold over the top of my boots. I needed this as the boots I have are mid leg high and dig into my skin causing deep indentations. The knit is a loose weave so they got larger as the day progressed. After being washed they returned to original size. The two buttons are a nice accent. Best worn with skinny jeans or leggings. Not so sure they would work with ankle boots as the leg section is quite long so they would probably end up being bunched up under your foot. ... show more

Ok, so I didn't expect much, I can see where the 'seam' may be an issue over time and come apart, but nothing some needle and thread can't fix. I have a smaller calf so they won't be too taught when wearing them, so I may have better luck with the seaming holding than others which have reviewed. Overall they are really cute, the buttons seem well attached. For the price, I would consider buying again. But I would recommend hand washing and hang drying, the washing machine would destroy these after a few washes if not the first wash, IMHO ... show more

Not much to say. I wore them with my knee high boots, really neat. Pull them high or wear them low. It's like a sleeve, a sweater sleeve you slide over the pant leg settle where or how much you want peeking from your boot. I love them!

These ended up leaving indents in my skin and causing me to scratch where they were indenting my skin. Perhaps my legs/shins are too large, but I feel like these are made a little too small. I understand they need to be made a little smaller to fit on your leg, but it felt like it was sucking the blood out of them at one point. I was grateful for the end of the night so I could "declothe" and take them off. It's been extremely cold here in the Midwest, and I have an ample amount of opportunities to use the two other pair, I just haven't yet because I'm not ready to feel that juice squeeze again. Cute but they don’t stay on place. I wore these with lower cowboy boot. The knit is very loose at the bottom edge so they do not hug your leg to stay put. They slide up the leg and also twist/turn around the leg, so the buttons do not stay where you want to wear them. I would not purchase again, nor recommend to my friends. Might try to add some elastic or a band to go around, under my foot to hold them down. Not sure its worth the effort. ... show more
