    • Simple and effective.
This machine is the most basic build that can accomplish its job and it's price reflects such. Despite it's simplicity it is solid and functional. It's compactness is advantageous for my small workspace.

First I ordered a smaller size machine. The heat cable broke the first time I used it. So I returned it and bought a bigger machine thinking it would be sturdier. The heat coil broke after a month of usage. I'm trying to get a replacement part but if the coil breaks this easily, this is garbage.

The BestEquip 18" Shrink Wrap Sealer is a solid machine with a powerful 530W I-Bar that makes sealing quick and efficient. It’s easy to use and does a good job of sealing various items securely. However, the quality of the shrink wrap included with the machine is disappointing. The material feels cheaply made and doesn’t provide a professional finish. It often tears or doesn’t shrink evenly, which can be frustrating when trying to achieve a clean, polished look. Overall, the sealer itself works well, but the subpar shrink wrap detracts from the overall experience. The product have arrived pretty fast, literally the fastest actually because I have ordered some other items as well with it, and this product was the first to arrive. I am new in business , I am selling a couple of different products in different sizes(dimensions) so I was a bit hesitant about how to use it but it was very practical. I set it up quickly after a couple of different heat level I found what is best for me. So it is really easy to use.     • good machine but no instructions
I left this in the box because I wasn't sure how to use it. I watched videos for other similar machines. I use the middle setting or a little hotter to melt the plastic. I lay my item in the crease, bring down the heating arm while pulling gently on the edge of the plastic. As it pulls away, I know it is sufficiently sealed. I then use the heat gun. Sometimes it is full of air (can cause a hole in the plastic) so I try to squeeze out air when sealing the package. I use a medium heat on the gun and slowly go around the edges and then the top and bottom. Happy with the purchase but wish I knew if I was doing it correctly or the best way. ... show more
