Positives first So assembly couldn't have been easier. It comes flat and then you screw the legs into pre threaded holes and boom, you have a futon. It's also extremely lightweight and easy to move around, but I've also never felt like it was going to break under my weight (somewhere around 250lbs) Now on to the bad stuff Okay, I had to sleep on this for 3 nights. It is very hard, not firm, hard. There is almost no cushion and the center is like a metal pipe or something. I have back issues and need a very firm mattress, this however made my back and hips so bad I could hardly walk by day 3. It is also very short. Now the listing does disclose the length, so it's not like this was an unknown, but I can't help but wonder why this is a futon and not a small couch. I'm 5'9" which is about average for a guy in the US. I had to sleep in the fetal position or everything from just below the knee down would be hanging off the end of the bed Sitting! If I need to sit on it for a long time, like a watching a movie or something I have to put a pillow under me so my butt doesn't hurt, and I don't have a boney butt I come with built in cushion and it's still not enough. The cup holder is a nice thought, but as a person with hips, it has to get pushed to the side to allow me to sit. Do I regret buying it? Not really. Would I buy it again? No. As long as you are under 5' and don't mind sleeping on metal pipes, I would recommend. Anyone else, maybe try something else ... show more

Extremely uncomfortable and very obviously cheap. Very small. MAYBE good for a bedroom or dorm room, I got it originally for my bedroom and even pretty small for that and forget laying down or sleep on this because it is SO uncomfortable even up to sit on. Cup holders would be a good addition IF they stayed in place, when put back they fall out every three minutes or the platform falls forward onto you if your sitting, absolutely no support, and if left out the holder moves around and tries to sink into the cushion gap, the cup holder platform needs velcro on the top and the bottom if you don't want to fight with it continuously to stay in place. It also stains very easily, like way TOO easily.. water should not stain anything but it leaves a clear stain even if you try to wipe it before it dries for some reason just leaves a dark spill spot forever. Again I can't emphasize how uncomfortable this is so if you still buy this anyways you'll at least need a mattress topper or something because it's like a hard silicone material (my best way to describe it). Also the velcro for the "arm rests" doesn't stick at all either and in the picture it shows you should have a little sitting space between the cup holder and armrests but with all 3 down there's no room to sit whatsoever. I just threw the armrests out because they don't stick, uncomfortable, and don't fit, so what's even the point. I guess the only good thing about this is it was decent enough to put together, and the color does at least match the picture. ... show more

I read the reviews before my purchase, and there were mentions about lack of comfort. I thought" Drama, I'm sure it's not that tereible!" Bruh... might as well purchase cindor blocks and piece them together, throw a blanket over them and say "Hello" to your new home decor. It's truly.... The worst piece of furniture I have sat on. This cardboard mosaic of plywood is however, super cute! I purchased aqua and am using it as a focal point in my basement rec room. I adore how it looks ( just like the picture from when I purchased.) Fabric is soft. Not like velvet, but a stiff cotton. The couch cup holder section, is screwed on between cushions and came as a separate piece, I feel that when using as a lay down futon this will be an issue in sturdiness and comfort. Not ideal for sleeping, at all....ever. Not even. I put risers under the 6 futon legs as it sits very low, and I'm too old to utilize a couch with that kind of nonsense.. Otherwise, I love it! Color os true to to image pictured. Shipping was moderate and came with out any damage. Price is too high for what you get. ... show more

This futon is incredible! It was the perfect fit for our conversion camper van. It’s firm which makes it great to sit on, not so comfortable to sleep on, but we added a mattress pad and it’s much better! Absolutely LOVE the color! Photos are of my 8 year old on it for reference. Pros- perfect size for anyone under 5 foot tall. Light weight and easy to assemble. Perfect for kids gameroom. Perfect for quick bedding for sleepovers Zipper pouch on bottom to store pillows and other items. Cons- too small for an adult. Cupholder is flimsy feelings and doesn't appear to be too sturdy when pulled out. Velcro is on cushions is the hard part and covered by a small thin piece of fabric that will be uncomfortable unless covered by more. Low to the ground so it doesn't really match "furniture". I was hoping it would be about the same height at least but I plan on changing the feet to see if that'll help. Overall, I think it serves the exact purpose I want. A temporary seat/bed for sleepovers and when we build the bigger house this will go in a gameroom or kid room because it is perfect for kids. I will say, this doesn't seem like it will last forever if you have excited, bouncy kids. ... show more
