I'm an Electrician and these down lights have come a long way since the late 80's. Of course they have, LED lighting is the best. These are easy to install, great job on the design. I noticed several like these and unsure of original designer. I'm putting 1 in each closet, 4 in the carport, 4 in living room, along with storage, back deck and basement. They put out 150-200 watt equivalent (non dimmable). I definitely recommend this product. ... show more

We installed these lights in our kitchen and dining area that we are renovating. They are bright and easy to install. They come with a template to use to cut out the correct hole size. Out of the 12 we installed only one light seemed to have a connection problem. This was remedied by making sure the connection box was secure. ... show more

I love these lights. I wanted to test them out properly before I did a review and over the past month that I have had these I am just blown away by how bright they are. You can set the color temperature to your choosing and I picked 3500K which really helped to bring comfort to my rooms. The lights are also dimmable if you have a dimming switch. After installing the recessed lights my rooms just seem larger I think the brightness of these lights gives off the impression that the rooms are larger than they actually are. Wiring was simple and the manufacture includes mounting hardware and wire nuts. The junction boxes are fitted with push in connectors but I didn't use those because I had multiple connections I needed to make. The spring that holds the light isn't as strong as others I've used but its appropriate for the purpose. The only thing I didn't like was the cutout they give you to trace out the light hole and I'd prefer stickers. Overall, these are an amazing bang for your buck and I would not only recommend but also buy again. ... show more
