It is a really nice light weight coat I found comfortable to wear to ward off a few rain drops and not to chilly of wind. The coat fits really nice and really accents my dress style really well this Beotyshow Men's Double Breasted Trench Coat Slim fit Long Jacket Belted Windbreaker is stylish compliments my dress attire when sporting a business suit to give a sleeker appealing look. I do find that the listing of the coat gives the viewer a misleading view that the coat is a lot sturdier than it is , its not firm at all its thin came folded up so small I had to question whether or not it was a real coat. But after pulling it out I find that the coat is just a long wind breaker the price point offered by the seller makes it a reasonable value of adding this light weight coat to your wardrobe. ... show more

I have a partial relationship with trench coats; where i do find them useful but tend to veer away from them. That was until recently, when i began incorporating unique colors along with thinner styles into my work based fashion ideas. Growing up, i had always associated trench coats with an elaborate affair that included all of these straps that made the thing seem uniform like. After becoming attached to a lighter blue coat i have been wearing since last fall, i wanted to try out a still lightweight, but possibly a bit more free flowing variation. This is where this Beotyshow brand coat coat came into my attention. I was thinking the material was a bit less floppy with the collar and surrounding neck region having a bit more structure. This coat arrived super folded up and when removing it from the bag, i i immediately became a bit concerned with the way the coat seemed like a sheet or something. After wearing it for a few minutes i was a disappointed to not see the character that is exhibited in the product page. I feel that picture is misleading in relation to the collar area, which sort of flops around rather than looking starched and with structure. The color is also of a faded way that is a bit too casual in that is seems like its not business casual but some kind of hippy casual. Overall this coat is a bit of a disappointment for my intention of being able to wear it in a work setting. I will still wear it and also update this review assuming i will find more of a use for it. I always approach reviews as an ongoing thig where i try to see positive things in items that may have initially not struck my interest. Hopefully this one will grow on me but as for now it seems comfortably in the three star range. I cant really recommend this because it does not look like the product page picture. ... show more

I recently picked up this trench coat and I've got to say, it's a pretty solid piece. The craftsmanship is on point – no loose threads or wonky stitching in sight. The buttons are fastened well, and the color is even throughout, giving it a polished look. It's cut nicely too, draping well without any awkward bulges or pinches. However, it's worth noting that the fabric is on the thinner side. It's not the kind of trench that's going to fend off a harsh winter chill on its own. But as a light overcoat with a couple of layers underneath, it does the job just fine. The online pictures might give you the impression that it's a formal piece, but in reality, it leans more towards the casual side. It's versatile enough to dress up a bit, but it's definitely more at home in a laid-back setting. Fresh out of the packaging, it does come with its fair share of wrinkles and fold lines, so you'll want to give it a good steaming (which I recommend over ironing) to get it looking its best. Once you've done that, it really comes into its own, fitting true to size and looking sharp. All in all, it's a decent pick if you're in the market for a casual trench with a touch of class. ... show more

I bought this for a Halloween Costume, the belt shown in the image is the main reason I picked this over any other, and there WASNT any BELT ! There were belt loops , BUT NO BELT!

    • Okay for wind protection, but thin, soft, wrinkly and not very warm

As a longer alternative to a windbreaker, this coat does a reasonable job. It’s thin, however, and it doesn’t have a removable lining for warmth, so it wouldn’t be suitable for colder weather. I haven’t tried it in the rain, but the material doesn’t look like it would be water resistant, so I doubt it would be suitable for rain either. That really only leaves one small niche, i.e., cool, dry weather. The stitching generally looks fine, but the material is very soft and flexible, which differs from other trench coats that I’ve owned. In addition, it was shipped in a vacuum sealed bag, so was very wrinkled out of the package. On the positive side, the instructions say it can be machine washed (cold) and tumble dried (low), so it shouldn’t be difficult to get rid of the wrinkles or keep it clean. The fabric is a mixture of cotton (70%) and polyester (30%), but doesn’t really achieve the strengths of either. It wrinkles like cotton but has a synthetic feel to it. The sizing seems fine, but given the limited range of weather in which this coat is useful, together with the material, I can’t recommend it. ... show more

    • Never had a trench coat before, but now I really like the idea

Fits just perfectly on me so it's not dragging itself on the floor when I'm walking, and sure lightweight so that I don't feel like I'm carrying a super heavy coat. Nice simple button design with shoulder straps to attach some random accessories you may want, and walk in style as you feel like you're wearing the outfit from the matrix. I both had this as an idea for wearing as regular fashion and as a halloween costume. Get one for one your detective show friends as they will probably really enjoy this as a gift. ... show more

Well I’m not sure what I was expecting, but this coat is really thin material and fit my husband (who wears a large) very tight almost thought he’d tear it when he tried it on. It came vacuum sealed and when I opened it, I found that the buttons had a scratches on them. At first, I thought I could wipe the mar off, but it’s noticeable, and nothing works to cover them.
