We have the " Tropical" Flamingo print lunch bag and the back pack. Its been perfect to have both since our toddler is not allowed to bring a back pack to preschool they really just wanted these flimsy reusable grocery sacks for space at school. However she can bring her lunch bag which is insulated , washable, toddler durable ( No rips or tears and easy to clean ). I love that it has a zipper pouch inside where you can put ice packs to keep things cold. In Arizona summers this is a must so food does not spoil. We use the Bentgo ice packs because they are slender , hard on the outside and washable to make them easy to clean the germs off of and reuse. We put one in the zipper pouch and one under the lunchbox. We also had my mother in law embroider her name on both her Bentgo Lunch box and the Matching Backpack so it was easier to identify in a school of toddlers who may have the same print. ( By the way we never put her last name so that its not easily identified for strangers or predators to know her name or information just a tip we heard and have used it). I love the handle variety that its interchangeable and that it has a pouch on the side for her drink cup to bring to school. I honestly overlook the zipper pocket on the back all the time but remembered it was there tonight and now i'll be placing the second ice pack into that zipper pocket for the bottom of her lunch box. We love the affordability of them as you get 4 for under $13. Zipper opening. Has adjustable strap for the girls to carry their own bags. It is very lightweight and insulated. The material is washable and there is a pocket built in if you want to put those refreezeable ice packs for kids. The outside is built of a durable canvas. Initially purchased in 2021, it was too big for my preschooler at the time. This year, it made it all the way through Kindergarten, however by the end of the school year, the zipper broke and the lining inside had begun to tear. This is probably one of the BEST lunch boxes/bags we’ve ever used. My son is in 4th grade and I was searching for a lunchbox that wasn’t tiny. All the ones you see in your big market stores at back to school time are so small, it feels like a stuffed sausage when you pack it for the day. I started browsing Amazon and found these. My son is a huge bug lover, so the print is adorable and we ordered. We’ve been using it now for about 2 months and it’s perfect. I love that it holds everything we need for the day: lunch and snack, plus utensils, napkins and slim ice packs. The water bottle netting on the side is a plus, however my son has figured out a hack that if you have a hook on your water bottle you can unclip the top handle of this bag and slide your bottle on there and clip it on. Then you can carry the bag on your shoulder w/ your water bottle clipped to the bag. Love the extra storage and it’s super easy to clean. So far, it’s held up really well so hopefully it will continue to outlast the school year. We don’t have a bentgo box, but our Yumbox fits in all the same with plenty of room to spare. I’ve also been able to fit little Tupperware containers & sandwich holders and stack mini containers with no problem. Worth every Penny and now I need to get one of these for my kindergartner. ... show more
