Surprised how realistic it looks I wasn’t sure what to expect. It is more of a mat than a rug but I actually don’t mind that it doesn’t seem to be sliding around as easily as a rug, and will be easier to keep clean there by the door I’m hoping. It had some fold lines in it so I set it out in the sun for about an hour or so and they released pretty nicely. There is a plasticy/ rubbery smell but I expect it will dissipate over time. Overall all pretty happy. I think the only thing I would change if I could is having the side edges color match the top instead of just being an unfinished edge but that’s just me being picky I think. ... show more

Ten minutes ago I accidentally spilled a bowl of baked apples on this rug. I prepared for a nightmare of cleaning the sugary cinnamon goodness off the rug. What made matters worse is that I didn’t even get a taste. The mess was so easy to clean up that, after throwing the mess away, I sat down to write this review. This faux cow hide rug is a wonderful add on to my studio. Small, but makes an impact with its prints. The only thing I would point out is that the rug can get deep imprints if something too heavy sits on it for too long.
