  • Great monitor
Display Size: 27 Inches
Movie mode makes watching shows so much more enjoyable. The black equalizer mode is great for games. I really enjoy having little-to-no input delay, which is of course advantageous for gaming. 240hz 1ms response is more than enough to give you a competitive edge for online games, too. It also has a little arm that comes out the side to hold your headphones while you're not using them. 10/10, would recommend. ... show more

  • Display port cord malfunction?
Display Size: 27 Inches
Edit: changing from 1 star to 4 star review, great monitor for gaming. Can't see any problems with it yet, but will change to 5 star if it can last a long time (only had it for half a year). Edit from 5/17/2021: This monitor has held up for 2 years and still going strong. If it breaks on me I will get it again, because this monitor is too good to give up. 5/5 stars now I just received this product yesterday. The monitor and my PC apparently aren't making the connection, so despite using the display port given, I keep getting a no signal detected error and a black screen. I've also tried a DVI cord and it works, but it won't allow me to go past the 140hz option to a 240hz. My PC was self built and I didn't include a CD ROM insert feature, so I can't insert the CD that was provided along with the product. No big deal, it's 2019 right? Upon looking, there are no drivers that I could find on the manufacturer's website to help with my situation. The "drivers" on the support end of their website only offers security catalogs and set up info but no set up executable. I've troubleshot the whole day for this screen to work. I've tried power cycling the monitor and the PC, and I tried running it as a secondary and a primary monitor. Updated the drivers for my GPU and CPU, but it's a no go. The BenQ only shows up as a PNP. So far I've only had a black screen with the display port, and a 144hz screen with my DVI, when I paid the extra money for this monitor for the 240hz option. Tried a new DP and HDMI and still no luck. Even went through an exchange and got a new BenQ to try, but no. I guess I will be sending this monitor back for good. ... show more

  • Solid monitor—smooth for gaming—terrible factory settings.
Display Size: 27 Inches
The media could not be loaded. I went from a 29:1 LG Monitor that was capped at 60hz. My current GPU can’t take advantage of the full 244hz yet. Even running this monitor at 144hz looks really good. I have only had it one day and I will update my rating as I use this monitor. So far, Destiny and FFXIV look extremely smooth. I’m excited to see improvements when I get a better GPU. Warning—the factory settings out of the box are GARBAGE. I was extremely worried when I first hooked up this monitor and I even said to my partner that I might have to return it. However, after some patient tweaking the colors and blacks finally look good. Don’t freak out if you plug it in and the colors are washed out and the blacks are pixelated—play with the settings before you make judgements. ... show more

  • The end game FPS gaming monitor
Display Size: 27 Inches
If you play CSGO or other competitive FPS game AND compete at a very high skill level AND have the computer hardware to run at 240fps or higher AND are willing to pay a hefty premium for a ever so slight competitive advantage -- then this monitor is for you. For everyone else, save your money and buy a 144hz monitor. Some quick notes: 1. Yes you can see and feel the difference from 144hz to 240hz but the difference is minor compared to going from 60hz to 144hz. What is weird is that switching from 240hz back down to 144hz, it is a lot more noticeable. 2. This small difference does indeed help for games like CSGO when it comes to peekers advantage, spraying and general aiming but the difference is small and hardly noticeable to people who are not skilled enough to take advantage of it. 3. The 3 button S-switch is such an underated accessory for convenience. I love being able to switch different custom profiles on my monitor. With a push of a button I can go a very neutral display profile for general and web browsing to an oversaturated, bright and extremely washed out display profile for CSGO. 4. The side shields are pretty gimmicky as their purpose is to block peripheral distractions and only really relevant to people who want to bring this to LAN's and tournaments but I have a hard time imagining your average gamer wanting to risk carrying this big and expensive monitor with them to a LAN. 5. Really loving this monitor and BenQ get's a 5/5 in build quality, attention to detail and of course performance. It will be hard to go back to anything less than 240hz. ... show more

  • 3 years of use
Display Size: 27 Inches
I’ve been playing comp on this pc for 3 years and it works perfectly. I bought it used - like new and the box came damaged but it was refurbished by Amazon and I’ve had 0 problems from it. 10/10 would buy again.

  • Amazing monitor WHEN USED CORRECTLY
Display Size: 27 Inches
Let me start by saying this is by far the best monitor I have used in my PC gaming career, hands down. That being said, people should know that this is not intended to be the ultra flashy and colorful 4K monitor that kids are obsessed about. This monitor was built to have ultra fast refresh rates and super defined dark colors. This is what a gaming monitor should be. I have never seen such smooth game play on a monitor before. And, despite it not being a 4K monitor, the picture looks amazing. Sure, it takes a few minutes a tweaking to get it just right, but once you do you will never go back. If you want to watch movies, go buy another monitor. If you want the best gaming monitor out there, buy this one, you won't be disappointed. ... show more
