This Extended ratchet has turned out to be more helpful than I thought it was going to be. The extra length is helpful but would still be difficult to use in a tight spot and saves my wrists a lot of wear and tear. It uses any standard 3/8 drive sockets and works well with extensions as well. The best part is that we all have many situations where a lack of room to work has meant being able to move a ratchet handle very little, making it seem like tightening a bolt takes forever. With this tool you don't need any room to handle movement. The 40 foot Lbs of tork tightens things up sufficiently for most things . Disclaimer: I have not used it for real work, I just tested for issues others have reported. One user stated he could keep the rachet from turning with two fingers. I could too. I then tested it by holding a nut and bolt with a wrench and it ripped the wrench out of my hand. Another user sworked correctlyaid the charger stayed green and would not switch to red. I tested with the spare battery in the case and got the same results, but that was because the battery was fully charged. That was surprising. I tried with battery in the rachet and it worked correctly. I'm not saying the other users didn't do more extensive testing, I'm just saying I sae the same results initially, but was able tast sucsessfully. ... show more

Is it an impact wrench? No.. of course not. Does it have enough torque to do what is designed to do? Absolutely. It performs just a swell as my pneumatic ratchet, but a lot more convenient. When things get too tight, just use the lock mode/manual ratchet to break it loose or finish torqueing it down. Haven't had it but a few days and one project but I'm sure the battery life will be fine... especially having a spare battery to keep going. Definitely worth the inexpensive cost, a huge bargain when compared to the name brand ones. Probably made in the same factory from the same materials lol. ... show more
