I bought the purple B8 first. I had already purchased several pens of different types from LED, to resin, to other metal ones. None were as well-made, as light-weight, or as comfortable to use as the B8. The resin ones have issues with the attachments twisting while trying to use. The B8 being so light-weight and well sculpted makes using it so comfortable and easy. The other metal one I own is not comfortable at all. Tho I enjoy the LED pens for their lighting function, they too are not comfortable to use. I enjoyed this pen so much, I bought the silver and red since I enjoy 3 different pen configurations and want to pick one up and work. These will be my main pens to use. ... show more

I have a good collection of different pens and I have 3 favorites and of course they all 3 are Benote pens , they are truly the only way to go. They are made very well , perfect weight and not huge and fat like most pens . I have came to terms I will never buy another brand again. This pen is a heavier weight, and the tips screw in smoothly. It’s nice that one end is for square drills. I have arthritis, and would like it more if it were a bit larger diameter.

This drill pen was a great purchase for my new hobby of diamond painting. The pens included with each design were okay, but this drill pen was 100% better! I made the mistake of leaving the pen on the edge of my work area, and my Labrador retrievers bumped the table causing the pen to hit the tile floor. This mishap caused severe damage to the metal ends, making them unusable. So, this was a hard lesson. However, I will definitely purchase a replacement!! Update to review posted on July 11, 2021: The Benote Company sent me a set of replacement tips AND a whole new drill pen!!! These folks know the formula for customer service!!! First I like the square tip for the square drills, but the screw tips for the multi placement tips are much bigger than any other pens I have. So if you want to have other pens set up like I have for the round you'll need to get several of these pens or you will have to keep changing the tips as you go. ... show more
