Bengoo G9700 Headset Review Hello User, you ever had a headset that hurts after a long period of use or ear cups annoying your ears especially in those heated moments of gaming…Then look no further because the G9700 is the headset for you. Feel: • When you put this headset on the first thing, you’ll notice is the feel of the memory foam earcups and headband around your head. The headset doesn’t apply pressure upon wearing it and it’s a nice fit. • Since the earcups are bigger and the headset being adjustable to fit your head in every way…it makes wearing the headset feel good and comfortable every time you put it on upon hours and hours of usage. Design: • The design of the G9700 looks good and feels good. It has a white matte finish to outline the headset and has a black glossy finish for the exterior of the earcups. The design kind of reminds me of how the PS5 looks lol. • The LED’s of this headset is white and they complement the overall design and BENGOO’s logo of the headset really well. Also, the mic has a white LED as well. • The mic controls are located along the cable with a unique design so it doesn’t feel bulky or interfere with your gamer moments or general use. The controller has a volume slider, LED on/off switch, and a mute mic switch. • The mic is flexible meaning you can control where the mic should be for better audio quality of picking up your voice and your voice being clear to others when in use. The only thing I sort of dislike with the mic is it’s always in your face because of how the headset is designed but after using the headset for a few days I’ve gotten used to it now. Sound: • It has 3D surround sound where you feel emerged in what you’re listening to. The sound quality really balances out each individual sound in order to make the 3D effect of the sound going through the headset. • You really do hear the impact of each defining sound which immerses you in the mood of gaming, listening to music, and etcetera to make each experience of using the G9700 unique. • Since the earcups fit around the ear completely there are no dips in sound quality or audio quality, it’s almost like the earcups themselves are noise canceling lol…that’s how good they are. Conclusion: In conclusion the G9700 headset is a change of pace from prior headsets BENGOO have created. The design of the headset make it have a different personality sort of speak from others. From the over the ear – earcups, the way the LED’s are presented/used, the location of the controller, and the mic itself allows it to stand apart from others giving it that feeling of being satisfied with your purchase. These headphones have great a build quality and are very durable. I was looking for noise cancelling headphones that could be used for multiple purposes. Since Covid, both me and my wife have been working remotely from home and I wanted head phones that I could use to both listen to music without hearing her working and also for using for meetings. The headset my work provided was painful to use for long meetings and very uncomfortable. These are sweet! When listening to music the ambient noise of my house is drowned out and the sound is very good. The base really carries through. Often my meetings are extended and these are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They have a volume controller right on the cord to make it easy to turn them louder or softer. Note that there are two plug-ins. One is for the headset sound and mic and the other is a USB port to make them light up which looks really cool but obviously isn’t important when working and lighting them up is not required but is only an option. My kid also uses them while playing his PS4 while gaming with his friends and he likes them as well. If you are looking for an affordable set of headphones that are good for listening to music, playing games and wearing for meetings; these are the headphones for you. It's very good for the price in all honesty. I bought these to game and they're pretty good for story mode/open world games or maybe rpg games? I don't play rpg really so i can't really speak on that aspect but its good for open world games on the other hand for FPS games like Call of duty and battlefield it's not the best but it gets the job done if you're not one of those players who find themselves listening for things such a footsteps you hear them but you have to focus a little. You get used to it after a few gaming sessions. But overall its a decent headset if you're on a budget or not that fussy on what kind of headset you want. When i first got them the mic wasn't working for some reason and i had to flick the mute mic on and off a couple times for it to finally click on and i could hear myself but apart from that so far everything works well enough to not complain. ... show more

So I ordered these for my younger brother. He wants an Xbox Series S for Christmas. So I ordered it. Got to thinking and I was like damn he needs a headset!! Went on Amazon, as I do 1,000,000,000 a day, noticed it was Black Friday and they had some early deals going on. Took a browse and found these. I was like “5 stars? No way!!” So I Paid $14 on BF I believe they normally cost $20. Anyway got em in and just had to get myself a pair. When they arrived I opened mine and put them to the test. I have the ROCAT Elo 7.1 Air($100) and the Razer kraken 7.1 wired($85). These easily have the same sound quality!! I was actually shocked that these work just as well as my other head set and THEY ARE SURROUND SOUND!!! I was not expecting that!! Don’t spend your money on a stereo headset that won’t sound as great as this one. This time it’s ok to be cheap!! And as the other reviews state they are solid! Actually feel about as heavy as both my other headsets! I would compare the size of these to the Logitech G635 they’re bulky but they do there job and do it quite well!! In conclusion, if you made it this far, just buy them! You won’t regret it and if you do…it’s $20! You probably blow that much or more on other pointless stuff! So just buy it!!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this headset for about a year and a half and it’s been incredible the whole time. Sounds amazing, Everyone says i have extremely clean and clear audio when chatting! It’s sleek looking, especially with the lights on! the controller knob is super easy to use. I had a little trouble figuring out how to set the headphones up on my pc at first but i think it was just because i knew nothing and was just getting into gaming. Absolutely 100% recommend. No need for an expensive headset this is amazing. ... show more
