    • Great Headphones! Not Sure About the Mic.
I love these headphones as they are very stylish and comfortable. I can wear them for hours without any issues, and most headphones I own make my ears hurt after an hour or two. I do not use the mic with this headset as I have an Amazon Desktop mic, but I recommended these to a friend who uses the headset and mic for his Twitch streams and the audio tends to clip out a lot. It may be due to his settings in Streamlabs and the fact that he goes from talking normally to suddenly raising his voice and laughing and that's when things clip out. I want to say it's his Streamlabs settings but I do not know for sure. Outside of the mic, the sound quality is really good and has a lot of bass and clarity. ... show more

Impressive wireless gaming headset. The headset came in a hardboard box with a magnetic latch, which immediately gave the impression of high quality. It included a pull-string, soft-fabric carrying bag with the Bengoo logo as a bonus. The foldable earmuffs with a retractable microphone allow for more compact transportation as well as a more comfortable rest on one’s shoulders and neck when not worn over the head. The “installation” was plug-and-play on the PC. The sound is clear and crisp. The controls (Volume, Mic On/Off pushbutton switch, and Power On/Off pushbutton switch) on the left earmuff seemed odd at first but were ergonomically well placed and worked well with simply the left thumb. The power switch also doubles as a Play/Pause button, which enables pausing the media and sound with one “stop-action” button (nice!). The unit came with a USB power charging cable (Type C to Type A: C to the earphone and A to the charging port) that allows charging of the headphone battery from a standard USB power charger or via the computer USB port. The headset I got also came with an unexpected additional cable (Type C to TRRS 3.5 mm mini-jack), which the included user guide pamphlet does not mention. Experimenting with it showed that this extra cable allowed for the use of the headset in a wired, non-battery powered configuration, which was a pleasant surprise. Thus, in the event that the built-in polymer lithium battery is drained or the transceiver goes bad, the headset can still function in a wired configuration (very nice!). ... show more

The headphones work well. The range I am able to hear audio (not use the mic though) is fantastic. My only issue is that every once in a while the mic will stop working or make a weird sound (friends have heard it through call but I have not) until I reset it. Its a simple fix, just muting and unmuting on the headphones but is a bit irritating sometimes. ... show more

I had tested quite a few different headphones and these really hit the spot. The sound quality is great, especially for music and gaming. The microphone is alright, though I have a desk mic I use instead. The quality is good for the price and I haven't had any issues with it in the past year. It is super easy to connect and the battery life is pretty good as well (lasts 2-3 days without charging). If it does die, just plug it in and you can still use it while its plugged. It is comfortable around the ears and doesn't hurt or anything even after 4-6 hours of use. I would definitely recommend purchasing if you are looking for good-quality headphones. ... show more

I was looking for some wireless gaming headphones for my kid as he keeps messing up wired ones. These headphones came with a 2.4G dongle - which makes setup pretty easy. Literally just plug in the dongle and it starts working. It works perfectly on both my PS4 and PS5. The headphones & mic were automatically detected and just worked... Same for my windows 10 PC which is great. Nice! The build quality seems pretty solid. The padded foam makes them comfortable for long gaming sessions. The in-game ambient sound is pretty good. Compared to other (more expensive) headphones they sound pretty good. Good bass and depth. The audio adjustment on the side makes adjustment quick. All in all, pretty happy with these. I have several sets of headsets and headphones from BENGOO and other manufacturers and these are one of the best. They have comfortable ear cups that adjust in multiple directions and a padded headband, and colorful RGB lights. ... show more

    • Wires can only bend so many times with out breaking.
I saw mixed reviews on this head set but all the features for the low price I decided to give them a try. The only pre purchase reservation I had was the retractable microphone. For it to use this design the wires would have to continuously be bent back and forth every time the microphone was deployed and retracted. You can only do that so many times before the wire snaps in half inside the insulated coating where you can't see it. This causes intermittent loss of connection, static, crackling and in most cases loss of connection completely. But I thought it was a cool idea and maybe they found a way to run the wires to prevent this problem. I had them for about a week and after very light use of the microphone it did exactly what I was worried it would do. As I was deploying the microphone for use my son on the other end started picking up alot of popping and crackling. So I repeated it again and It got worse. On the third try I lost the microphone all together. I can honestly say in total the microphone was deployed less than 50 times before wire failure. That being said the good still out ways the bad. Pros. 1. Great sound on PS4 & PS5 2. Good wireless connection to the game consoles themselves. 3. Very comfortable headband and ear cups. 4. No hot sweaty ears 5. Glasses friendly 6. All advertised on headset controls function properly and are conveniently located. 7. Good battery life 8. Good price Cons. 1. Bad microphone design 2. Needs a way to turn off lighting affects to help extend battery life. Unfortunately I had to give 3 stars despite all the pros due to these being primarily a gaming headset and with out the mic you loose the ability to play the majority of the online games out there. I returned for refund not replacement because of it being a design flaw that will probably continue repeating itself. Fix the microphone and loose the lights to get 5 stars. ... show more
