I have mobility issues as well as depth perception problems. This cane helped me greatly to walk around outside to view all of the monuments & tourist spots. I'm a 5'5" female with fairly long legs and this advertises for people under 5 ft; however, the shortest length is 31", so be sure you don't need something shorter. Also, I had the 3-prong Benecane last time and really liked it, but thought I would try this type of base to see if had more balance. Not only do I have less balance, but the base keeps falling off and almost topples me over. I've tried gluing it on; waiting to see if that works before sending it back. The 3-prong cane has a large screw in base that I never had problems with. That's what I will get again next time. ... show more

I had another of these canes and after only a couple weeks, I lost it. I loved it but decided to try another brand to see how it was. It was the same color and had a light, but with a pivoting capability that I thought might be nice. ( It was a nice addition but the foot kept falling off after a couple hundred steps.
