This is a nice jewelry sized vice. The mounting jaw is nice and deep allowing for many mounting options. The milled areas are very nice and provide a solid and flat working area. The jaws are nicely patterned and lock up smoothly. The screw is well designed to move the jaws quickly but allow fine adjustment. The included wire jigs and rubber padding for the clamping base both really nice features. The swivel function is smooth and locks up securely.     • Nice Size, Cheaply Made
I guess I shouldn't expect too much from a $26 vise from China, but it was disappointing. My First complaint is with the swivel lock nut on the bottom, It loosens with use and must be retightened to lock the swivel. that means you can't permantly mount the vise down to a tabletop, because you're going to need to retighten that nut over time when it gets loose. My Second complaint is the screws holding the jaws to the vise are cheap and I stripped them trying to remove the jaws. I had to drill out the screws to remove the jaws. Naturally I replace them with better quality screw. And now Its fine. My Third complaint is more with Amazon than the vise. Whoever packed the box for shipping put the vise and a fragile plastic item in the same box and no padding. Oh, both were in their own boxes but guess what happened. Oh well the vise survived. The other item got smashed.. ... show more

This is a nice hobby vice that will attach to work tables with 3in or deeper tops. It arrived well packed and complete with screw in pins t hold odd shaped items. It holds items firmly and in about any position needed. There is a round anvil for setting rivets or striking something that is ideal for my needs. ... show more
