First, the two screws that are supposed to connect the top to the base (that clamps to the table) don't actually engage the two pieces of hardware and their connection is not flush. The diamter and threading of the holes don't match. Therefore, the table clamp is not usable at all. Next, there are no instructions or assembly information. Finally, the two rubber guards provided to cover the metal vice (for softly gripping a more delicate material) were cut too small to properly fit over that surface. ... show more

    • Rubber guards do not fit nor are they compatible with the item I bought.
The Rubber inserts do not fit the table vise & judging from the reviews I'm not the only one, I'm a firm believer if it comes with the product it should be compatible with the product, throwing in random accessories that's not compatible with the product just to make a sale is deception...remove the rubber guards from this item or fix the problem. ... show more
