I was a little iffy on trying this because I feel like my shoulders are built like a brick outhouse (they might not like the other word I would have used...) so I am frequently terrified of getting stuck in clothing and also annoyed at things fitting everywhere but these darn shoulders. Enter this blazer... perfect amount of spandex/elastic, whatever it is. And not just it fitting great, but the sleeves are the perfect length for my arms too! I'm a short brick outhouse, so was pleasantly surprised at just how well it fit and stretched and looked, and I'd say don't hesitate, it's great. I got this for my better half and did not know what to expect for a $24 Blazer ($23.99 at time of review before 10% coupon). She was hoping to wear it unclipped (it uses a hook and loop like a bra), but it poofs out kind of like a big skirt unless you clip the front. However, it looks really nice once you clip the front, and it has an effect kind of like a men's slim/trim fit coat where it is very slimming and professional looking at the same time. She wears the blazer to work and to business casual functions and it allows her to wear short sleeve or sleeveless shirts and dresses, which are more comfortable in the summer. She wanted me to mention that if you have a function where it is cold this helps but is no substitute for a sweater or coat. Overall, I think that this is a nice blazer and it suits her needs well. This is cuter in person. You can actually see the material and the pattern it has in the fabric. It looks like thick threads intertwined together with silver put through it to make it kind of sparkly. There is an inner liner that is much softer than the outer material. The outer material would be scratchy on your skin. It is kind of thicker too, which would make it nice for wearing in the spring or autumn time when it's a bit chilly. This cropped jacket was far heavier in the package then I had anticipated - this is a good thing and indicate a more solid and hard wearing material has been used (imho). The black material was very stretchy and did not have any shine on the surface - again a good thing! Slight downside for me, as I have a larger than average chest but small body frame …so that when closing the clasp across the chest is pulled and gaped a little. However left open it looked really great. I am definitely like this brand and agree on needing some more colour ways for this cropped jacket! ... show more

Limp. No structure. Jackets deserve some sructure or they loose the pattern's shape. I returned it immediately. But the fabric was quality fabric. Cooler color than the photo, so I would have returned it anyway, or dyed it. Maybe they used a 'saturation filter' to make the color appear more vibrant. In short... they’re cutting corners with good fabric and a basic good pattern, so its a big fail ... show more

I was a little disappointed by this item but for the price listed on sale I would say the jacket is a decent buy. I was looking for something for work but this was very wrinkly and the jacket doesn’t have much structure, it’s more sweater like in feel and design than a suit type of jacket. It wasn’t flattering on my body type which is curvy and a little short waisted. I would not recommend this item; the hook to close the front is very fragile and looks like it will come off super easily. It’s not reinforced very well.
