I haven't washed it yet. The color is relatively accurate. I would say it is a fractional bit lighter than my monitor shows. I didn't have to fluff it and it is wrinkle free. I ordered a king for a queen bed so I could cover the pillows amply without having to use the shams. The measurements are accurate and the spread covers the sides of my 14" mattress well.
