UV/ LED lamp and how evenly you apply this makes a difference on how long you cure. If you’re not happy with results, trial and error until you figure it out. The product does exactly what it is intended for. Using foil could be very tricky if you don’t take your time, use an even coat of the foil glue, and have a steady hand. For my application, I used the SUNUV UV/LED lamp, applied an even layer of the foil glue, cured for 60 seconds, applied the foil using a tool to rub on the foil to the edges, applied the Beetles top coat, and cured for 60 seconds. It will take practice to apply using my non dominant hand, but happy with the results. ... show more

I applied the gel then cured it for 120 seconds. Applied the foil sheet, it adhered to my nails well, and the transfer was okay. After putting the top coat on and curing it for another 120 seconds. It was still sticky. I wiped alcohol over it and some of the color came off. With my other gel polish alcohol takes the residue off. My nails were dull, so I tried to put some top coat over them. The color came off some more. I left them alone. The next day they were peeling and puckered (perhaps from the alcohol or top coat). The directions said that you’d have to soak your nails to remove the gel. Ah 😒 no. I could push it off with my other nail. They felt waxy the whole time and never got hard. It was my first time trying foil. Apply your color of choice .. cure. Then after curing add the foil transfer polish and CURE for 25 seconds then here’s the trick.. when applying your transfer you have to make sure the glue is tacky so it can stick. I applied the foil removed it and reapplied it. Then I added my top coat and Cured for 60 seconds . As you can see some parts didn’t fully transfer onto my nails but it’s ok next time I’ll do better . Best of luck . Oh and worth the purchase 🤍 ... show more
