This hard gel/builder gel has a good viscosity for application. I use it in salon and my clients love it. Large bottles give you a good amount of product for a great price. I have done about 27 full sets and am not even close to using half of one of the bottles. The nude color options are gorgeous. I LOVE all Beetles nail products. I started with the dip powders during the pandemic, and it worked great and they last about as long as a salon acrylic set at a fraction of the cost, but it took about 2-3 hours for me to do them. Fast forward to the gel set and I’m in love! Easy to use, even for a beginner because the gel is self leveling, but you still need to make sure it’s even. I’ve done 2 sets so far, and they look better with practice as you still have to keep it from getting too thick around the cuticles, but the brush they include works great because it’s small enough to carefully sculpt. It came with 3 containers of 3 gels, 3 different colors, base and top coat, and it’s enough to do hundreds of sets since you don’t use much. You will have to get more base and top coat before using all the gel. I recommend getting a larger cure light because the one that comes with it is for a single finger. $15 light from Walmart works great or you can purchase one here! The fill was easy, I also recommend a dermal to file the hard gel top coat when filling or removing. Forget to take pics will add with the next set :) ... show more

I did my own nails for several year but had to stop in 2018 due to a new job. About 2 months ago, I decided to try and get back to having my nails done. Some of the products in this bundle work better than others but it is a great starter key for those new to gel nail extensions at home. In my opinion, these are the pro’s and con’s of some of the products in the bundle. Pro: clear, white and pink builder gel. The base and various top coats are amazing and are easy to use. The builder gel adheres to the nail bed very well. I am a nail biter and I have very small nail beds and nails for the product to stick too, nor did I have any type of nail growth to help align the Freeform stickers. Con: The builder gels, at least the white and pink as I have not used the clear, seem to chip or dent easily. I wish it came with a dehydrator and primer to make the kit complete. As I mentioned, I am (was) a nail biter and barely had any nail bed to work with but the product stuck to it easily. Since I restarted my nail journey, I have completed 3 fills with minimal lifting and have not had a single nail extension pop off or break. For the price point and all the products that are included with the builder gels, I would recommend this bustle and the products within. This is a great brand and if you have not tried out any of their led/UV nail polishes you are missing out. Although my collection is still relatively small, their polishes are so easy to work with and are incredibly beautiful. I suffer from PTSD, ADHD, TBI, numerous neck and back injuries from a severe car accident summer 2022 when a teen drove into incoming traffic (aka me), causing a life changing accident. I was drowning in depression and anxiety and it felt Like all the joy had been sucked out of my life. I know it sounds cheesy but this bundle (thanks mom) has giving me something to do and concentrate on. I am finding so much joy and excitement in swatching any nail polish’s I buy. Now that I am permanently disabled, I don’t have a lot of disposable income but this brands quality and price point will have me as a loyal customer for years to come. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This hard gel kit is pretty amazing & durable. Only issue is the box doesn’t give proper directions on how to use this product.when I apply the hard gel to my nails I use 3 coats, but the gel doesn’t dry undee the UV light like the directions state. I left my nails under the light for a full 5 min outed and they were all still sticky. You are unable to file and reshape your nails if they are still sticky. To dry the nail you have to put rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and rub each nail, that will dry the gel.after this important step you will be able to start reshaping the nail.this Nail gel is chip resistant, I do a lot of dishes and chores around the house and I haven’t had any issues with the gel changing colors or chipping. The only thing I noticed that removes the gel is a nail drill. You have to drill all of the hard gel off. ... show more

Bought this for my 16 yo daughter for Christmas, i warned her that it mat take patience... (she has a tendency to get flustered) she did amazing on her first try, loved them. She did her first set christmas day, and one nail fell off yesterday, so... roughly 17 days, but again this was her first go round, had never done it before, and we love it. I'm very impressed with beetles products and have ordered many different sets of gel colors and love everyone of them. I recommend their products to everyone. I love that she can get long nails without me having to go to the salon and pay 50 to 70 bucks. All around, a win win. ... show more

I was enjoying my second use of the product when I realized the jar is literally half full it’s a huge looking jar with plastic halfway wet to the top so there’s only a tiny bit of product and more plastic than anything !!! I bought this nail gel to use at home, and I’m so glad I did! I used it on two fingers to attach some pretty large jewelry, and it’s holding strong – the jewelry definitely isn’t going anywhere. The adhesive is so strong, in fact, that I’m not sure how to remove the jewelry without damaging it. I soaked the acrylic gel nails in acetone overnight, but it didn’t seem to make any difference.
