These nails are a good alternative to acrylic nails, but it takes up some time to do. We tried them and they did not last long, but that could be user error and not securing the nails properly. I will continue and try to see if I can secure them better.

So I bought these for a concert I was going to. I normally don't have long nails due to my profession. I applied them two days prior. I put the glue on the fake nail and applied to the base of my real nail. A lot of pressure is NOT needed as it will force the glue to the edges of your nail and seep out. Then you'll have cured glue on the outside. Gentle pressure under the cure lamp for the first 10-15 sec of curing, then you're pretty safe to let go and let it finish curing without pressure. The key is to have no air bubbles under the nail. A few tiny small ones don't seem to effect it, but big ones will create weakness and it'll be prone to falling off sooner and easier. Sooo in the two days prior to the concert, here's a few things I did without losing a nail or incurring any damage: 1. Mowed my yard ( 4 hour job on super wet grass, push mower) 2. Cleaned out bottom of lawn mower when it clogged with wet grass ( lots of grabbing with finger action). Did this about 15-20 times. 3. Weed whacked ( high vibration ) 4. Raked my yard 5. Grabbed and carried lumber 6. Open several cans of soda by the tab 7. Cleaned my house, pulled wet laundry from washer several times 8. Gave dog a bath ( lots of scrubbing fur with fingertips) 9. And the most impressive: pulled down sports bra while dressing after showering... stuck under armpits because skin was damp ( ladies you know the struggle!) These things are good! I like them a lot. They look professional and they feel secure. Application process took about 45 min. Box comes with everything you need. ... show more

I used these nails for the first time today. The glue was easy to use to apply the nails. I was SO excited because they looked pretty good for at home nails. I was on my last nail though and the clippers broke!! I tried to figure out how to put them back together but I was a little weary since it basically contains a razor blade. The light they provide is laughably tiny but I didn’t care because I already have a larger light for curing gel. But for $20 at least give me nail clippers that don’t break the first time they’ve ever been used. The nails themselves were fine. My nails aren’t as curved as these fake nails so I had to push down really hard to get them to fit. Maybe I just have flatter nails than most people? Wish I could get a refund or new clippers sent to me. ... show more

I’ve been using Beetles products for two years now and have been 100% pleased. Normally I do not like nail tips because they don’t stay on (unless professionally done). I decided to try the beetles brand ones. They look great but it’s been less than 24 hrs and several have popped off needing to be replaced. I am very disappointed in them. I’m not hard on nails. I’ve had these one for a week! I’ve never found fake nails that stay on for more than 3 days! Everyone said do not get air bubbles, but just keep in mind that is easier said than done! I have slightly managed to keel air bubbles away on most of them, I did use the light that came with it then I used my light for my whole hand for 60 seconds on each hand!
