the packaging is super cute and looks adorable when you get the product! When I first unpacked this I got anxious because warning IT IS POLYESTER SATIN, NOT SILK SATIN! I bought this while it was on sale, so I did not really check anything before buying, just an impulse purchase. Satin comes in two major production textiles - synthetic satin and silk sating - this is synthetic satin made with polyester! However, real silk satin is expensive! So most of the time you think you are buying some real silk satin at a good price, check that materials tag one more time! (I am an apprentice at a hair salon, so I am learning more about hair care as I proceed with my apprenticeship.) However, as I said in the title, I was pleasently surprised. The texture is rough and stiff at first, which is what scared me about the quality. But when I washed the pillow cases they became super soft and silky smooth, like a total dream~ These are super soft, smooth, dont pill up or stain easily like some other pillow cases I have used, and best of all - work super well! My hair has seen a genuine improvement in friziness from using this pillow case! These pillow cases are quite nice. An old satin pillow case of mine started getting torn up so I got these to replace those and put on my new pillows. They slip onto pillows easily which can also mean they can slip off easy too however there is a flap on the inside that you can tuck around the top of the pillow to keep it a bit more secure. They’re a not too thin and they fit my pillows relatively well, I got the queen size which honestly seems a little too big for my queen size pillows but I honestly think that’s just how pillow cases are. One thing I noticed is if you get water or anything on these they do seem to stain easy, so be careful with that. Needless to say these are pretty alright cases and they’re quite comfortable. ... show more
