We have this in a cal-king and have been using it for awhile. It's been washed at our local Laundromat (too big for our machine) and comes through perfectly! An elderly friend of ours needed a queen comforter in white so I suggested I order one of these. She loves it! It's lightweight but warm. It's soft against the skin. The white is beautiful as is the dark grey. Value for the money can't be beat - honestly. I moved from SoCal to Michigan and needed some winter bedding. I have a comforter I love but wanted a duvet for some extra warmth. I hemmed and hawed at several options both on Amazon and other places and just wasn’t sure what I wanted. There are a lot of options for a newbie lol. I was worried about getting something too heavy and it being too hot to use all through winter and into spring but also worried about spending money on something that wasn’t heavy enough and having to buy double what I intended to. Then I got a ping that this was on a lightning deal for a little over $22 and bought it completely on a whim. It was a surprisingly good buy. When it arrived it looked quite thin so I immediately took it to the dryer (on air fluff no heat) to see if I could fluff it up. It did fluff up a little but was still quite thin. I shrugged it off thinking that even if it was too light and I needed to purchase another heavier duvet this was still a nice quality item to have when I needed it or to have for guests, especially at the price I got it. And then I slept with it. It’s so warm! I have it on my bed along with my duvet and there were several nights in October and even November that I had to throw off my comforter and just sleep with this duvet because it was plenty warm enough. Now with December in full swing and a snowstorm having just hit - I am grateful for both of them on my bed at night. It maintains heat really well also when I put a heating pad or hot water bottle under it - it locks in that heat for quite a while. The duvet itself is very soft and has washed very well. I haven’t had any issues with threads coming lose or the filling bunching. If you have super cold winters with constant snow or if you’re sensitive to the cold I think this would be too light. But for Detroit winter, (coming from a thin-skinned SoCal girl) - this is enough of an addition to my regular bedding. I imagine adding a duvet cover would also help make it a bit heavier (especially if you added a flannel cover or something) but I haven’t added one yet to mine since I’m being indecisive about the color lol and it’s been just fine. ... show more

this duvet is so comfy and warm. superrrr thick, which is good for the cold. i bought this during the summer because we remodeled our room and wanted an “adult” comforter (LOL!) it looks great. when i first got it i threw it in the dryer to fluff it up and it hasn’t gone flat since. it doesn’t bunch up in one spot like other comforters which i love. the downside: like i said i bought it in the summer, and we ended up not using it for very long before putting it away because it was so hot. (it doesn’t help when my boyfriend is like a personal heater.) however we just brought it back out since it’s getting colder and it’s been amazing! i suggest if you live somewhere where it’s hot outside all the time, try looking for a thinner blanket. another downside is that it’s way too big to fit in my washer. i think i’m going to have to go to the laundromat to wash it because it’s so huge. ... show more

This came in a small box so compress I wasn’t sure if would be bad quality and thin but no it opened up to be very full and a true queen size. Nice weight thick but not to heavy. I am very happy with this purchas3 and would buy again.
