The material of the sheets and comforter have a velvety feel and are super soft. They make getting in the bed a relaxing and rewarding feeling. The purple is beautiful. I purchased a King for my adjustable king bed and the sheets stay on snuggly whether I raised the head of the bed, the foot of the bed or both.
