This is such a great blanket. I like the color and how soft it is. It does not feel cheap and lasts through the wash. It didn't smell when it came out of the package. It's a perfect size and fit, but I do wish it was more heavy weight. It is great for a gift, and is a great value. As a bonus, our dogs LOVE laying on it, as you can see in the picture. I need a bit of weight to feel comfy but don't want to feel pinned down by something bulky and unnecessarily heavy. I bought this blanket to have an extra on hand for my guest bedroom. I am expecting guests in the fall, and although the house is always kept warm, I wanted to be sure they were comfortable. This blanket is a great solution. It's super soft, and quite warm, perfect for using on the bed under a comforter, on its own, or as a throw in a chair for reading. It's plenty big enough for a queen size bed. The blanket is lightweight, so if you are one who likes heavier blankets, than this probably isn't for you.
