This is such a great blanket. I like the color and how soft it is. It does not feel cheap and lasts through the wash. It didn't smell when it came out of the package. I bought this blanket to have an extra on hand for my guest bedroom. I am expecting guests in the fall, and although the house is always kept warm, I wanted to be sure they were comfortable. This blanket is a great solution. It's super soft, and quite warm, perfect for using on the bed under a comforter, on its own, or as a throw in a chair for reading. It's plenty big enough for a queen size bed. The blanket is lightweight, so if you are one who likes heavier blankets, than this probably isn't for you. This is one of the most wonderful blankets I have ever had and it is fully twin sized, not a throw. Despite constant use the fleece has not matted and it forms an excellent layer for bed or a couch blanket. However, it is not electric, I was looking for an electric blanket and this showed up in the search. I didn’t read closely enough but if you’re looking for electric this is not. I bought this for the color to add to a dull leather couch. It is great, the color is true to what they show, the fabric is soft and feels great, luscious and the price is right. I added it to the couch, loved using it on a cool night while watching movies and it was soon taken over by my German Shepherd too. She was my constant companion and this blanket just added to her comfort too. We will be moving and getting new furniture, but this blanket will be part of the new decor and I plan on getting more from this vendor. It's what a consider and 'comforting feeling' item.
