I love that it includes a glove because i am ALWAYS burning my hands. The curler is very durable and works great. It produces very pretty curls . I have straight hair that barely holds curls but mine were held for a pretty long time !

This worked so well. I have very thick, curly hair. I have to use the highest setting and was surprised that it heated up almost instantly. I love that it came with a glove to protect my hands from the heat. I am so pleased with this and would 10000% recommend.

this heats up well. I don't use the gloves because I have super thick hair and use the temperature of my hair to know when it's been curling long enough. I wish the end of the barrel that attaches to the rest of the wand had a barrier as my long hair slides over the end of the barrel onto the non-heated part of the wand, which is a little annoying. Over all, I like it. I just have to do things a little differently from my smaller curling wand. ... show more

This is a good curling wand. The only issue I have is that sometimes your hair (like 1 or 2 strands) get stuck in the part of the wand that is close to the handle, so that is a little annoying. I have learned to effectively use the wand by making sure that I don't curl my hair near that part of the wand, but still, that is something you might want to consider. The shiny one was the best ever! It slid through hair smoothly. The newer matte version gets hot quicker and doesn’t glide through hair, almost sticks. Returning since they changed it and I haven’t loved the matte one. Why can’t they keep it the same when it worked so good?

I used a 1/2-1” Revlon wand for years and loved it, but it just wasn’t cutting it anymore. I wanted a lightly more beach curl and a little less “Heidi” plus my hair is longer now. I tried the 1-1 1/2” Revlon wand and returned it soon after, I knew it would be too big and I was correct. The tapered barrel made it hard to use and you ended up with the 1 1/2” curl which was not quite enough curl. I decided to spring for this 1” rod and it’s perfect! Great curl. The heat works great, my old wand I’d have to heat to 375-380* to get much curl, this one works great at 355*. The handle is comfortable and a food size. The cord is longer than the Revlon so it’s not getting stuck on the corner of my counter top anymore 😉 it makes it so quick to do my hair. The only downside is the heat control has the off button on the bottom and your hand can bump against that while styling. I have yet to turn mine off that way but I do think it could happen at some point. It’s not a reason for me to return as everything else is great and it’s not an issue thus far. Stylist Tip: you do not hold the hair against the iron with your fingers glove or not. If you’re burning yourself you’re not doing it right. I don’t use the glove and never burn myself. Pinch 1/2”-1” of the ends of your hair and use that to twist your section of hair around the wand. Your pinched end does not get curled which plays into the beach wave style. If you want those ends curled too you need a regular curling iron...and more time. ... show more
