It's not clear to me if you can apply either side to your face, or if there is a specific side you're supposed to apply. The two sides appear different -- one more shiny and smooth. When I first put them on, they don't want to stay in place. As I'm applying the 2nd patch, the first one has a tendency to come off. The patches appear to be on a plastic tray in their pouch. The plastic tray comes out of the pouch easily, but the patches are always stuck to the inside of the pouch. There seems to be a lot of extra fluid in the pouch that makes a bit of a mess on the counter where I'm applying the patches. I wonder if that extra fluid could be used to recharge the patches so they can be used a second time... stretching the life of the patches. There is a slight burning feeling on the skin under my eyes for the first few minutes. But that seems to go away and there isn't any sort of sensation... except that you have a patch under your eye. After removing the patches, I can see an obvious difference in the color and smoothness of the skin under my eyes. There is noticeably less wrinkles and less color. But that improvement seems to be very temporary. An hour or so after application, the wrinkles and color return and I can't see any permanent change. Having said that, it might take all 20 applications for the changes to be more permanent. Additionally, the first step in applying these patches is to thoroughly clean and dry your face. Prior to using these patches, I didn't follow a regiment of cleaning my face at night. I shower in the morning and would clean my face during the shower. But then I would go 24 hours without cleaning my face again. My wife on the other hand cleans her face twice... once in the morning and once in the evening. She swears by simply cleaning her face regularly, and she has a youthful looking face. I expect that if any of my damage is reversible, some of that might be attributed to simply cleaning my face more often. ... show more

PEULEX Beauty Golden Under Eye Patches (20 Pairs) - Under Eye Mask for Face Collagen Skin Care Products, Treatment for Dark Circles, Puffy Eyes, Refreshing, Revitalizing, Travel, Wrinkles - PROS - These Golden Under Eye Patches come packaged as 20 pairs individually wrapped. The patches are shaped to fit nicely under your eyes. The skin under my eyes appear a bit more tightened up after using these. Directions for proper use is written on the outside of the box and also has pictures to make it clear. CONS - There seems to be one side that sticks better to your face, but you will have to experiment to figure out which that is since the patches are not labeled. There is a touch of tingling/light burning within a few minutes of use that for me last the full 20 minutes applied. The information written on the back of each set of patches is very difficult to read. The directions on the packaging state to use them for 20 to 30 minutes but also state these will “…hydrate your eyes in 15 minutes flat.” These start to peel up as they dry on your face; therefore, I recommend using them for closer to 20 minutes instead of 30 minutes. The tighter appearance of skin is temporary. OVERALL - These Golden Under Eye Patches may work for you temporarily though you may have light tingling or burning when applied. The PEULEX Beauty Golden Patches are interesting. The patches are in a tray with liquid inside a pouch. Fairly consistently a patch would stay stuck inside the pouch. I was not sure which side to apply to my skin. I applied the patches and left them on for 20 minutes as directed. I have been using various brands of eye patches for several years, but I found them challenging to take while traveling. When I saw these individually-packaged set of 20 eye patches, I thought I would try them. I can say that these are just as soothing and effective as the existing gold eye patches I was using, but the individual packaging made these so convenient for a recent trip. These under-eye patches by PEULEX Beauty aim to address various skincare concerns, including dark circles, puffy eyes, and wrinkles, and they do appear to provide these benefits for my eyes, but in a subtle way like all other eye patches I have tried.
