Bought this wagon for our beach vacation. I did a lot of research on several different wagons before ordering this one and I was still a little worried it wouldn't do well on the beach sand. But I am very satisfied. It rolled great on Florida's fluffy, soft sand. I was very impressed. While it was a little harder to pull on the sand when the wagon was completely loaded down, the wheels still rolled on the sand. We had a large yeti cooler full of drinks and ice, a medium size food cooler, a large bogg bag with towels, snacks, chairs, and other little beach things like speakers, beach mats, umbrella, sand toys for the kids, etc. and before we got to the sand, we even had another large yeti on there full of drinks, but we took that one off when we got to the sand, but it definitely made our trip much easier. It's 100% worth the money in my opinion. I've seen several "beach wagons" that when they got to the sand, the wheels would not turn and you would just have to drag it. No, these wheels actually turned and rolled on the sand. 10/10 recommend. Not too heavy and folds away easily to store or load in the car. ... show more

I had the wagon for a year and a half (roughly) before one of the wheels cracked, after carrying some heavy items not exceeding the 300 lb weight capacity promised in the description. Even after over a year of owning it, B & G promptly sent me a brand new wagon wheel all the way from China at no cost to me! It even arrived before Christmas. This wagon means the world to me, for toting kids and stuff. I had gotten it for my birthday haha. The customer care is par excellence! Update - If you are looking for something that is going to pull 'smoothly' on soft sand, it doesn't really exists. No matter what, you are pulling against physics. The idea of me getting this cart was to lessen the amount of pulling. I have tendonitis and limited arm strength. I wasn't able to pull this through soft sand very far, but it still was doable. It still made things easier than if I was pulling a cart with skinny wheels. If you are attending a wide beach, where you have to walk a long way to get to the water, then no matter what kind of cart, it will be a struggle. Which is why I pick short beaches. So, while I wasn't able to pull this cart very far, the beach wasn't too wide, so it was far enough that I could see set up close to the water. There are some wider, bigger beaches where this would help, but with my strength, I still wouldn't be able to pull it all the way to the water. Do not attempt to make a lot of turns, while in soft sand. Again, physics. The wheels will stick, and too much force will tip over your cart. Just pick up one of the ends by the frame and rotate it so it is pointing in the direction you want to pill. Try to pull in a reasonably straight line. The cart is heavier than expected to lift, once closed, but I expect this to last me a while. The wheel frame is grate to allow it to stand upright while closed. I am still returning it because of the above picture of the busted wheel frame. But I still intend to buy another one. This has the widest wheels. Any thinner, I will have worse problems with stability. So, despite still having issues with soft sand, I concede that whatever cart I buy, I'm going to have that problem. But, I feel this is the best option and for five beach trips, it has been able to serve my needs. Original Review - I bought this 'Used/Like New' and it did look new. These are opening observations before my beach vacation. I will update once I see how it works on the sand. First observations after unboxing Pros - Secure frame, durable looking material. Good looking wheels. Hefty but there's a red lock that clicks to hold it together. There are flat metal pieces on two of the wheels that allows the cart to stand upright, so it doesn't roll/fall over. I loaded it and took it all around my apartment complex to see how it maneuvers. Not bad, but this was flat terrain, and you still have to take wide turns. The back handle that can lift into place is very secure if you want to push from that side. Cons - The handle is not very secure. The piece that 'locks' it to the cart doesn't hold it very much and I could see it breaking over time. I will have to take care around turns, especially in the sand, as to not put too much stress on it. I doubt you could really do hard turns with just the handle. One thing that concerns me is one of the metal pieces on one of the wheels that is meant to help it stand upright. The metal is bent to the side, and one side comes very close to the wheel. The whole piece is welded into place. This looks like a manufacturing error. It concerns me because since it's so close to the wheel, I could see over time it restricting or damaging the wheel. I still might contact the manufacturer for a warranty replacement after my vacation. The true test will be how it holds up on pulling all my things through the sand. ... show more

So I don't know if any other parents can relate to this but I happen to have a fussy child who does not always want to walk when we're out and about and since he's getting too big for a stroller, I decided, hey, why not opt for a wagon instead? The product was packaged nicely and securely and the item came in good condition. In terms of the setup, I clearly am quite challenged when it comes to reading directions haha, but trust me, it's not that difficult once I found all the bits and bobs that needed to be moved. The wagon itself is sturdy and was able to hold up my 50lb+ child haha. We did take this wagon for a spin around our block a few times and in terms of maneuverability, it was pretty good and was able to withstand thus far the different terrain structures (concrete, grass, uneven concrete). Sometimes turning was a bit awkward but not too bad. Obviously, it's a wagon and is meant to carry goods and not a child but in my case, I decided to plop my 7-year-old on inside and he likes being pulled around as he lounges and sight sees haha. I'm planning on testing this wagon further for longer walks around the park or something so hopefully it'll hold up just as well! 5 out of 5 stars. ... show more

    • 2 wagons have broken on us in 6 months?!

We ordered the garden wagon to use with our 18 lb dog. We use it on city sidewalks, parks, etc....In other words we are NOT hard on it. Our dog is also 19 yrs old so he literally just rides along and is not jumping in/out of it, etc..... The 1st wagon the pin/screw in a back wheel broke after a month. The company sent us a new wagon. The new wagon has now broke. ???? The bearing hub has now broken in the replacement wagon we were sent. These are EXPENSIVE wagons. They are also intended for gardening work which would mean hauling heavy items, possible rock terrain, etc...... They should be sturdy. We are doing none of this and now have 2 broken wagons! Extremely disappointed in such an expensive product...... ... show more
