I'd considered helping her mount one to the ceiling, but when an opportunity presented itself to try a simpler over-the-door number, I took it. It was easy to install, and easy to repack into the bag for compact transport. Adjusting the straps also is easy enough. I'm a bit worried about how well it will bear weight, and moreover how wise it is to transfer all of her (or my) weight into the door's hinges. I ordered this set to explore some fun activities with my gf, and overall, we were quite pleased with the product. It allows us to try something new without having to mount anything permanently and chance losing the security deposit. Setting it up was straightforward, and it felt sturdy enough for our needs. While it claims to hold up to 300 lbs, we only tested it with 120 lbs and it held up well with the moderate use we put it through. I imagine the webbing and materials would hold up to higher loads, though I'd be concerned more about the door taking damage (thinking of you, builder grade apartment dwellers, me included). Our walk-in closet door was the setup location, and let us take it down and store it in short order if needed. Proper setup is critical to avoid damaging doors: set the swing up on the side of the door that doesn't swing outward. This way, the load is placed on the door frame rather than the door itself, hinges, or lock. For closets, this means bein inside with the door closed. In summary, this set is a fun and temporary option for exploring harnesses and straps. It might also be a great option for travel, as it's easy to pack down and quick to set up and take down. While it's not ideal for all door types and might not hold the maximum weight as claimed, it’s a great product for its intended use. The buckles are PLASTIC ! & The metal stopping tubes to put behind the door, i actually bent one.... The buckles dont stay in position, they randomly come free & so do you ! Im 200lbs & i just sat down in it ! I eould not recommend this product
