These curtain hooks are good. No more trouble trying to fit two layered curtains into one hole. They look pretty and slide smoothly, my only wish is that if they can make them a little bit more thicker because you can barley see them when hung.

The rings I replaced seemed similar to these--open only on one side though, and the old ones always got stuck when sliding the curtains back and forth. I took the old rings and curtains down but kept the rod up. To put these rings on the rod, I just slipped them over the top. I'm sure it would be easier to have the rod down, take the ends off, and put them on. I hung the liner first on the inner set of hooks, and then the cloth curtain on the outside. As I hung the liner, it would sometimes slip off because the weight would move the rings around. Once I hung the outer curtain, they were fine. I'm surprised how easily these slide. I thought the issue was the rod but apparently it was the old curtain. I love that I can easily remove just the liner or curtain without having to remove the other one. I try to wash the liner occasionally and am discouraged by having to take both down. The rings seemed a little thin, but again they work great both for holding the curtains and easy movement. Ever since I discovered double-sided shower curtain rings, I have been replacing my old ones one bathroom at a time. If you are still using rings that are a struggle to open and close, and require taking off the liner to get to the curtain, these will change your life! Also, I am a ball bearings for life on shower curtain rings gal, they slide so much better on the rod that any other rings I've used. So in terms of functionality, I give these rings 100+. These shower curtain hooks are the first I've tried of this style. They are extremely easy to install and hanging your shower curtain and liner is just as easy. The little roller balls make sliding the hooks along the shower curtain rod very smooth. If you're looking for a simple and practical shower curtain rings, these are a nice value. ... show more

These curtain holders are very nice. The black color is a good contrast for the white curtain. They definitely need to have two curtains though, otherwise they are lopsided and do not stay on the hooks well. The beaded top is aesthetically interesting and helps motility.

I really like that these shower curtain hooks hold the curtain on one side and the liner on the other. It’ll be so much easier when I want to change either one separately. I also like the small decorative rolling balls on the top. Moving the shower curtain from one end of the rod to the other is so much smoother and easier. My only concern is how thin they are. The diameter is only 2 mm which is half the width of my previous hooks. I worry about someone tugging on the shower curtain and the thin metal tubing cutting into the fabric curtain or the plastic liner. Because they’re thin, they also bend easily so may deform with regular use. These are a really nice idea, and I can see them being useful, not only for a shower curtain & liner, but also for light window draperies that have a separate sheer. I just hope they hold up with routine use and don’t damage my curtain or liner. ... show more

The photo on the ad makes these look like they might be a little bronzey, but they are black, maybe even matte black. Other than that, what I received was what I expected. They are pretty well made. They were easy to install, but I was replacing existing hooks, so I didn't have to fight with drooping curtains. I like this design because I do not see how they could possibly come off of the rod unexpectedly, and there isn't realy anything that can break. I also like that the liner is hooked separately from the main curtain, so I can replace either one at any time without having to unhook everything. Happy so far. ... show more
