Description

BBK Power Plus 90mm Throttle Body for Dodge Hemi 5.7/6.1L is suitable whether you drive a Dodge Ram or Jeep, Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum/Charger or the Hot Challenger R/T and SRT8. The BBK engineers have designed a great simple bolt on throttle body - that will add 12-15 horsepower without sacrificing mileage or drivability. It is available in 85 millimeter and 90 millimeter versions. The new "Power Plus Series" Hemi throttle bodies are manufactured from brand new CNC machined 356 aluminum housings. They are fitted with the highest quality components and brand new factory OEM electronic throttle controls. It makes installing a true bolt on with no modifications.

I have a 2010 ram 5.7 and I had to remove the bracket, that holds my AC lines and then install the throttle body. The bracket went back on but I had to bend it a little bit.

    • Not a direct fit 07 dodge ram
It's not a direct fit for 2007 dodge ram 1500. The thickness where the bolts go is not as thick as stock (half an inch thinner). This causes you to either get shorter bolts, add some spacers/washers to each bolt, or buy a throttle body spacer. At the very least they could add the space for the cost of this. ... show more

Easy install, had zero issue with the install. No throttle issues or codes, and nice performance. Don't forget to go through the throttle relearn process... My bet is many of the bad reviews stemmed from not performing.

I had great hopes for this product however, I've had nothing but headaches. The best Performance Techs and Dyno tuners have been unable to get this throttle body to idle properly causing stalling when changing from reverse to drive.Comments from these professionals: "We have had nothing but problems with BBK throttle body units." Awesome. It will Throttle "hunt" for a bit. Which is annoying. But after several trips around town, your ECM will decide where it needs to throttle at and it is a great ride with a noticable difference.

Update*** Tried for months to get a replacement. The factory told me that the revision I got was a dud. they told me to send it in and the would send out the newer revision. So I did, and was without my truck for about 2 weeks. I sent it to them, and they sent THE SAME ONE BACK. Now they wont return my calls or emails. Thanks Tim at BBK. Great customer service. For almost 500 bucks, you would expect it to work. The calibration of the unit I received was wrong. Constantly throws my truck into limp mode (25 mph max speed and no power). Tried to exchange, but they didn't have a replacement. Now I have a vehicle that doesn't run. ... show more
