These LED/De-Fogging mirrors (we bought two) are the exact finish we needed for our upgraded & expanded primary bath. The install was tricky (we hard-wired them) and I can't say my contractor loved that part, but they look beautiful. Three different levels of lighting along with the de-fogger (which can be turned on or off) create lots of options depending on who is using the space. First… this mirror wasn’t for me but for my wife. I’m the one who spends all the time researching and reading reviews and specs. I selected the 36”x24” and for me, I didn’t think it was bright enough. Yes the brightness was maximum. There isn’t enough light on the face because the lightning (LEDs) are so far out for a 36”x24” mirror and the LEDs are not facing outward towards face but outward to edge. I do agree this is a nice looking mirror for illumination but not for makeup. I don’t apply makeup but for me wanting to look at the details on my face, it wasn’t bright enough. Received it, plugged it in, and less than a hour, requested to return. I decided to go with the mirror that have the led bulbs facing you. ... show more

Not nearly as bright as I was expecting - even with two installed in the same room. I am a tad touchy when it comes to lighting though so I anticipated this. I will need to use a standard light fixture to get the brightness I am looking for but that's not a knock on the product. It does make me wonder if it truly meets the lumens they claim though. It was SUPER easy to install, and the packaging was thoughtful and well done to prevent damage to the product. Overall, a great item. Just don't get this if it's the only lighting in the area because it likely won't be enough unless you're looking for low light all the time. :-) ... show more
