UPDATE: Excellect service. I recived an email that was very well written and got a full refund for both my shelfs. They even wanted to know what ended up working so they can approve. Like I said in my original review the only issue was the anchor. i got two packs of these cause it was a great deal. The shelf itself is nice, and the steel rod is nice too, but the anchors are horrible. I put it in my wall and the shelf was straight and tilted towards me and extremely wobbly. I went and got new anchors and attempted to take out the old ones. they would not come out and i had to rip them out and it made a deep and biggish hole. 4. so, i had to patch them up. its past the return, bummed cause i like the look but its been a PAIN to put these shelves up. A simple project has turned into a headache. If you get these don’t use the anchor it came with, new anchors will be better. once again, the look itself is great, anchors are a HUGE downfall. ... show more

Thanks to the reviews here, I purchased metal plaster anchors to install. Much sturdier. This is easy to install. Get yourself some metal anchors first. Amazon sells them too.

My dad did help me install them. You definitely need a measuring tape, a drill, and some patience. It wasn’t the super easiest to install but it wasn’t bad either. The media could not be loaded. The color and shelf itself is pretty. I expected to be sturdier for prize. The concept is smart but they needed to add possibly another bar within the shelf to actually support better. Limited use for shelf because when adding additional items the shelf starts to lower in front part and looks like items will fall off and it’s not flush against the wall. I love these shelves. They are so secure and there is no wiggle to them. They are very lightweight and an amazing value for your money. They can hold a decent amount of weight and also they can be lopsided. You can have something heavy and then something light on different size and it doesn’t seem to tilt. The shelves are nice and easy to install. Exactly what you would expect. The only thing I would recommend is to replace the wall anchors that they come with. Get sturdier, higher quality wall anchors. I originally used the ones that came with the package and the shelves could bear significantly less weight than advertised... any amount of weight had them sagging out from the wall. If you use quality wall anchors and don't put anything too heavy on them, these shelves will serve you well. ... show more
