Classima Executives watches are the heritage of Baume & Mercier's watch-making know-how. They offer a style derived from sobriety, a classical, elegant look. Classima Executives reinterprets the brand's watch- making tradition with mechanical movements with small, useful complications and refined finishings. The timepiece is constructed with a stainless steel case, a round stainless steel bezel, and a textured black leather wristband secured with a deployment clasp with buckle. A scratch-resistant-sapphire window shields the textured rich black dial, which features silver-tone hour markers with Roman numeral accents at six and nine o'clock. The dial also includes slim silver minute indexes with Arabic numeral markers at five-minute intervals, and a colorful skeleton window beneath the 12 o'clock position. Featuring Swiss-automatic movement, the timepiece is water resistant to 99 feet (30 M).

    • Great Watch
Every aspect of this timepiece, from price to band to face, is fantastic. First of all, the value Amazon provides here is ridiculous. I walked into a watch retailer and saw this exact same model priced at $3,199. It has a deployment clasp which I believe is an improvement over the fold over action seen on a typical band watch. This saves the band the wear and tear of frequent taking on/off. The band is alligator. It has a strong yet comfortable feel and is very visually appealing. The band on mine did exhibit some minor "squeaking" but after wearing for about a month (3-4 times a week) it was broken in and developed a nice fit to my wrist. The attachments from the band to the clasp and the case are both solid with no wiggle or misalignment. The stainless steel case is acceptable. It did develop a blemish right next to the crystal which I am disappointed with since I have bumped it against any objects no more than a couple of times. The crystal is flawless: very clear and unbelievably scratch resistant. The face of the watch is beautiful. I am typically not a fan of apertures on watches, but this one is discrete and interesting. It adds to the look of the watch and the open movement is a nice contrast to the crisp lines and elegant hands. The display is very nice, with the 12, 3, 6, 9 giving the wearer a good orientation while also looking good. The sweeping second hand is particularly noteworthy on this piece since comparably priced watches do not offer this same movement. This was really a selling point with me when deciding between this and a Tag Heuer. The movement is automatic and with a power reserve of about 2 days, which is short but sufficient. The piece keeps good time but did get ahead about a minute over a 3 week span when not kept diligently fully wound. Overall, I would recommend this piece over all others to anyone looking to spend $1500-$3500. It is a comfortable classy watch thats beauty really stands out while remaining discrete. The timeless look does not get old and you will enjoy looking at the time for years to come. I have yet to have a problem to test Amazon's warranty with, but if it is anything like their shipping/normal customer service, I imagine it to be good. ... show more

This watch is very elegant. I have a very large wrist and most watches do not fit me, but this one does. I am very pleased with it. I am thinking about buying another one.

My first watch from a luxury brand. Clean design, nice weight and materials. The only glitch for me is the short power reserve, since I have other watches and I don't use it everytime it aways runs out of power. However it's a great watch all around!!!
