I ordered this BATTOP Baby Blanket for Boys Girls,Muslin Swaddle Blankets with 6 Layer Cotton,Toddler Crib Blanket for myself, not a baby. I live with chronic health and pain issues, including inflammation and frequent fevers. A few months ago I was dealing with a lot of cycling fever-chills, and I was trying to think of a blanket that could handle both feeling overheated and feeling chilly. I remembered the muslin swaddle blankets we used when my now-teenage son was a baby. Did they make them in grown up sizes? Yes, I discovered that they did. Not only that, I discovered that my whole family wanted one. My son still has his favorite baby muslin swaddle, now he has a large size throw, too. My husband loves his muslin throw blanket. We have these lightweight muslin blankets on the sofas. I wanted another 47” x 47” blanket for a throw to use in bed, so I ordered this lovely grey blanket. The soft grey looks great with our grey bedding and my pink muslin blanket. I love how these blankets just keep getting softer the more you wash them. I love how the layers of muslin breathe, keeping you cool when it’s warm, helping you stay warm when it’s cool. This blanket is soft and comfortable. If I’m chilly, I can fold it over for extra warmth. If it’s warm, the blanket is the perfect light cover. These blankets are wonderful for babies, we used them over and over when my son was tiny. But they’re also wonderful for the rest of the family. This 47” x 47” size is a great size for a throw blanket. You can layer these blankets, or just use one and fold it for many layers. This could also be a nice shower gift for new moms. Easy to launder, cozy, comforting. It’s lightweight yet warm enough to keep the chill off of your little one when the a/c is on, is a generous size for a crib blanket, soft, and comfortable. It washes up well and did not shrink at all (washed and dried as per instructions). My toddler grandson loves it and asked for it today over his construction vehicle, soft, fuzzy blanket!
