I'm pleased with this battery fluid. I'm using it to breathe some new life into an old, tired, deep cycle battery that runs my electric gate opener. It seems to be effectively reviving the battery and solving some sulfination issues that I was experiencing (common with older batteries) which was leading to the battery not taking a full charge. If it extends the life of my battery at all, I'd say that this is a winner given how expensive batteries are these days. I'd buy it again - I think it'll ultimately pay for itself in the long run. I ordered this a bit in a hurry and a bit out of excitement. You see, I love batteries. I love working with them, restoring them, recycling them... You name it. I have been restoring old LeadAcid batteries from old battery backups for years. The most common way to restore these batteries is by opening them up and filling them with... can you guess? WATER!! Now you can't just use any old water from your tap, you need either distilled or DI water which has the conductive 'solids' removed from the water. Now we get to the main point here; even knowing all of this I saw this 'Battery Restore' and assumed there must some extra solution or solvent that might help break up the sulfate.     • Great replacement fluid for batteries on "auto-charge".
I was able to replenish BOTH of my camper's batteries with the entire contents of this 64 ounce, jug of battery fluid. It "perked-up" my slightly, sulfated batteries within a day or so. I can tell that this fluid will extend the life of my batteries and allow me a few more camping trips between battery replacement cycles. After a few years of use, my battery has been flickering and struggling, especially when starting on cold days. I was skeptical, but thought this might help and ordered and tried it. It did improve a fair bit. I don't know if I'd call it a new battery, but starting the engine is a lot easier than before. I think the acid weakened with time, and this renewed it. Anyways, using the battery improved, so if you're struggling with one, this might help extend the use a bit before replacing. ... show more

As I am not very fluent in what my husband does in his shop, I will try to relay this as best as I am able; my husband is interested in using this for replacing, or refilling, worn battery acid, and when he saw me scrolling on my product page, he was interested in this. It is a bountiful jug that is really full of acid for batteries, which I never knew this was a product that one could order, but my husband is ready for one of his battery's acid needs replacing.
