I didn't want to open the walls to hardwire any lights so after reading the reviews I purchased a set of these battery operated wall sconces in matte black. They are well made and look lovely with my gallery wall and come with the lights that have a charging cord and remote controls. One remote will work for both lights, however they do send a remote with each light. I prefer the warm white light over bright white and it does light up the wall but it is more for mood lighting than reading. I definitely think these are worth the price! ... show more

We had a dark eating area in our apt. And needed battery power lighting, these are just the ticket, and provided soft lightening. The big challenge is to make sure they are level, otherwise they are easy to install.

These lights are really pretty, not too expensive and can be used in many different styled homes. The installation was easy, and the kids love using the remotes, and work great. We did decide to return them, only because they just don’t stay lit long enough for us. If you need them for occasional use, then go for it! You’ll be happy with them. I will say the shop owner has been very helpful, reached out to me about my purchase and answered my questions very quickly. Even offered to help me solve the charging life concern of mine. I have another pair of sconces similar to these and it resulted two beautiful and really tall sconces that make my bedroom look really regal. LOVE that they don't need to be hard-wired. These battery-powered lights sources make decorating so much easier.
