AAA sent out a guy in a van to charge my battery with a portable machine the size of a fat briefcase. He couldn't get it charged because he said my battery was completely dead. So he called a tow truck. That guy used his big flat bed tow truck to jump my battery and couldn't get it done. Had to tow my car to the shop. They charged it and sent me on my way. Two days later, my battery was dead again. Turns out I kept leaving my air on. I turned to Amazon for a DIY solution, as I often do, and found this machine.     • Compact, easy to use, convenient .
The jumper pack is super easy to use. Quick charging , compact . It’s definitely something everyone should have in their car. My battery was giving me a problem, so I ordered this just incase and it turns out I needed it a few times in a few days until I replaced my battery. I like that it has a bright light right on the front of it so at night I’d your not in a bright area, you don’t need to try and use a phone light while trying to handle the device and put the jumper clamps on. Only downside is the clamp/cable connector doesn’t fit easily in the case it takes awhile to put away, also with the cables for a bit longer for more easy placement of device while using light but other than that, it charges in a timely manner, you can get a few jumps out of it before charging again. I never let it go under 60% before charging it . But I would definitely recommend ... show more

Right out of the box it had a 70% charge, I had to use it the day after it arrived and it worked as good as my brother's snap on, I think better because it's so simple to use, plug in the cables to the jump starter hook to your battery and start your vehicle....great investment!! Will post update after a month or two to see how long it holds it's charge. ... show more

Comes in a nice case. The extra features (USB charging, Light) are great but I just need to be able to crank the car when it needs it. Was completely dead the other day and this thing jumped it first try, out of the box, in 60 seconds. I'll run the battery all the way down, the best I can, before giving it it's first full charge. Follow the directions. As someone else pointed out, cords are not long to the clamps so best for a traditional auto battery. ... show more

I submitted a review about how quickly the charger I received lost its charge. Acmount quickly responded offering a refund or replacement. This was separate from Amazons return by date which had already passed. I opted for a replacement due to the positive reviews and it seems to be a well built solid unit. In an email, the CSR advised me to discharge the new unit they were sending 0%. Then recharge it to 100%. I received the replacement at a campground where I was staying. I am pleased by the customer service of the company. I will send another review after I have had the unit for a period of time and a chance to use it. ... show more
